Daniels POV:

We drove farther down on the back road we were on. I think a few people fell asleep because we all became quiet instantly. I saw Alexa passed out on Zach's lap and in the back Jack, Tate, Jonah, and Corbyn were all passed out as well.

"So Dani, what do you think your second power is?" Gabbie asked me, starting a conversation.

"I don't know. I don't really care either. I don't want these powers in the first place." I say keeping my eyes on the road.

"Why? What's so bad about them?" Christina said jumping in.

"I just don't like change. And this is a big change." I say quietly, still not moving my eyes off the road.

"Okay, I get that. Zach what about you?" Gabbie asked the other boy who was awake.

"I don't know, I just want a second power unlike Daniel." Zach said playing with his hands.

"Do you guys think we will be on the run forever?" Zach asked quietly.

"I don't know. Maybe for a little bit, why?" Christina questioned the young boy.

"Its just... I don't know. I miss my family and life already and it hasn't even been a day." Zach says now playing with the rings on his hands.

"You got us Zach. And you got Alexa. You'll see your family soon I too." Gabbie said trying to comfort him.

"Yeah I know." Zach sighed looking down into his lap where the blonde hair girl was.

"I got a question. Why aren't you dating Alexa?" Christina asked. Zach looked up and into the back.

"Because we are just friends, that's all." he implied.

"Bullshit. I see the way you look at her." Christina tried fighting.

"I don't look at her like that. Okay, we are just best friends." Zach said looking at the sleeping girl in his lap as if he was in love with her.

"ZACH! They way you are looking at her right now proves you like her. Just admit it." Gabbie commented pointing at the two while pointing at them.

"No. If I do it will ruin everything." Zach let slip. His eyes went wide and he smacked his forehead.

"So it's true." Christina smirked, "You like Alexa. YAY! I ship it hard."

"Shut up." Zach quietly. We all knew he wanted to be with her, and he was quietly shipping it too.

We drove some more with quiet conversation between the four of us still awake. Eventually I saw the gas station Alexa was talking about earlier and slowed down.

"We are here." I said turning the engine off. The rest of us woke the others up and everyone got out to go into the gas station.

"How do we get in?" Corbyn asked as we stood off to the side where no one can see us.

"Um, I don't know. Can Daniel go in with people invisible?" Jonah asked making everyone turn to me.

"I can't do everyone, but maybe one or two. I passed out last time only doing one person." I mentioned thinking about how I passed out when I did it with Gabbie.

"Okay well who needs to go in?" Christina asked everyone.

"I need to go pee." Zach said raising his hand.

"And I need to do some other stuff." Tate said raising her hand implying on needing to handle girl stuff.

"Okay, Daniel, Zach, and Tate go inside. And grab some girl products while you are in there, we forgot those last time." Gabbie said finalizing the plan.
