Alexa's POV:

I was the first to wake up out of everybody. I think it was probably 6 am, pretty early for me since I usually wake up at like 10 everyday. But I mean we were on the run, so I wasn't going to get much sleep.

I looked down at the boy in my lap still passed out from yesterday's events. He looked so peaceful, all I want to do is hug him. I played with his hair while I waited for someone else to wake up.

"Anyone else up?" Daniel asked from the front seat.

"I am." I said looked over at him as he rubbed his eyes. "Did you sleep good?"

"For the most part, yes." he said stretching his body.

We waited for the rest of everyone to wake up, which they did, one by one. Well everyone besides Zach, he was still out cold. When was he going to wake up?

"So where are we off too?" Jonah asked everyone, but mainly we all looked over at Sofia since she had a plan.

"I have a remote house that is completely secret and safe. We could go there for a while, letting everything calm down for a bit." Sofia suggested. We all nodded.

"I can drive if you want." Daniel said to Sofia.

"Sure, I'm tired of driving anyway." Sofia responded and switched seats with Daniel.

Daniel started the van and drove out onto the road.

"Where is the house?" Daniel asked since he didn't know where he was going.

"It's in Portland, Oregon." Sofia said. I could see Daniels face tense up for some reason at the name of that place. Maybe he had a bad memory there?

"Does anyone know what the date is today?" Gabbie asked still laying down next to Jack.

"It's May 25th." Christina answered.

25th? Was it already that far into May? Looking back down at Zach I realized he was going to have to spend his birthday on the run.

"You okay Alexa?" Jack asked as he must have noticed my mood change.

"It's Zach's birthday in two days." I say playing with Zach's hair.

"Oh my god! I forgot about that." Gabbie said sitting up. "Wasn't he finally going to get his drivers licenses that day?" she questions.

"I think you mean attemp and fail." Jack corrected her making everyone laugh.

"Hey, I heard that." Zach said slowly waking up.

"ZACH!" I said pulling him into a quick hug, not giving him enough time to react.

"Hey Lexi." he said to me hugging me back eventually.

"Next time don't over use your powers or I will beat the shit out of you." I say in a nice soft voice getting a questionable look from Zach.

"Here, take this." Tate said handing Zach some water and a granola bar.

"Thanks." he smiled at Tate taking the items. "What happened while I was out?" he asked as he started eating the granola bar.

"Nothing much. But your plan worked, nice job." Corbyn congratulated Zach.

After a small pause and seeing Corbyns eyes go green, he laughed at someone's thought.

"Yeah, I can't believe your plan did work."

"How-"

"I can read minds, my second power." Corbyn explained to Zach.
