Sofia's POV:

"How much longer until we reach the lake?" Corbyn asked as we continued to walk where the lake was located inside this forcefield bubble.

We had to leave the others behind, praying they don't get in trouble. If they are going to get past the forcefield we have to talk to whoever runs this place.

"Corbyn you asked that like 2 minutes ago." I sighed as I held Daniels hand a leaned on his shoulder as we walked.

"Yeah but we need to be there now. Christina is still outside the forcefield." he complained about his girlfriend.

"Hey Gabbie is also out there!" Jack said to us.

"Let's not forget Alexa and Tate." I mention their names in the conversation.

"Yeah whatever, I want my girlfriend though." Corbyn pouted.

"Your acting a lot like Zach right now." Daniel said to Corbyn which made him mad.

"I'm not acting like Zach." Corbyn said as he walked faster in front of us, leaving us behind.

"Why is this place called Prism Lake?" Jack asked.

"Because when the water shines on it, it reflects all the colors like a prism." Daniel explained as Jack and I gave him weird looks, "What I used to live here remember."

"Right I forgot." Jack said as he went to go catch up with Corbyn.

Daniel and I stay behind the other two and I look up at him to see him lost in his thoughts. His eyes were staring off into the distance looking at nothing.

"You okay?"

"Um, yeah I'm fine. Just remember how this is the closest I've been to my family since I left home." Daniel mentioned to me.

"I'm sorry babe." I say pulling him into a hug and his head lays in the neck, as I rub his back.

"Come on Love Birds. The lake is right up ahead." Corbyn yells from in front of us and we let go of the hug running over to the others.

Eventually a view of a lake came into eyesight. The moonlight was sparkling on the surface and there wasn't one ripple in laid on top.

"It's beautiful." I say stepping closer to it.

"It's a lake Sofia, don't get too excited." Corbyn judged me as he started walking around the lake.

"Oh yeah, my bad Corbitch." I say using the nickname Tate came up with.

"Come on, I think I see cabins up ahead over there." Jack said pointing to the far side of the lake to reveal some small cabins and one huge one in the center.

The four of us made our way around the lake and made it to the cabins in no time. We stopped in front of the big one and stared at the door.

"Some one knock." Jack whispered.

"Not me." Corbyn says taking a step back, "Daniel do it."

"Yeah, my anxiety said no." Daniel said stepping back as well.

"You guys are babies." I roll my eyes and step forward knocking on the big wooden door.

We waited a few seconds but suddenly the door opened to reveal a girl standing in the front. She had jet black hair that went down to her chest and ocean blue eyes like Daniels.

"Finally, you guys took forever to reach here. Come in." the girl says to us and opens the door even more allowing us to step through.

"Thanks?" Jack says to her in more of a question, "We're you like waiting for us or something?"
