025; just friends

Zach's POV:

"Yo, Zach wake up." someone said to me. I slowly open my eyes to see Jack's face right in front of mine.

"Five more minutes." I say quietly, rolling over and brushing off Jack.

"No, get up now. You can go take a shower if you want." Jack said walking away as I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I looked down at the sleeping girl next to me, she looked so amazing when she sleeps. Her blonde hair isn't messed up, as I slowly move it out of her face.

"Just friends?" Jonah says to me as I blush from being embarrassed and make my way into the bathroom to take a shower like Jack said I could.

I finish up with my shower fast and Gabbie gets in right after me. Corbyn, Alexa, and Tate are still asleep so Daniel went around trying to wake them all up.

"Corbs, wake up." Daniel said to Corbyn as the boy stayed asleep, "Dude, get up."

"No." Corbyn said rolling over and covering himself with the sheets even more.

"Bub, we have to get going." Christina said shaking her boyfriend awake.

"What if we cuddle instead?" Corbyn poked his head out of the sheets looking up at his girlfriend.

"Oh dang, I really want to do that. But we need to go." Christina shrugged and ripped the comforter off of Corbyn.

"HEY!" he yelled jumping up.

"See that did the trick. Hey, do we have any extra clothes?" Christina asked turning towards Daniel.

"Yeah, here." Daniel said picking up one of the bags and handing it to her to go change.

"Tate, babe you need to wake up." Jonah said over in the corner of the room trying to get his girlfriend to open her eyes.

"But I'm tried." she complained, still with her eyes closed.

"You can sleep in the van. We can cuddle if you want?" Jonah smirked as Tate opened one eye and smiled, leaning in for a kick small kiss.

"Zach put on a shirt." Jack said to me throwing a blue shirt in my direction. I caught it and put it on.

"Zach go wake up Alexa, she probably wants time to get ready." Jonah said to me looking down at the sleeping girl on the floor.

"Does it have to be me?" I asked, not knowing if she was mad, confused, or happy with me at the moment.

"Yeah, why? You two get into a fight or something?" he asked furrowing his eyebrows.

"Or something." Corbyn said quietly to himself, which I glared at him for.

"I'll wake her up, don't worry." I said walking over to the girl. "Lexi, wake up." I say shaking the girl. She slowly opens her eyes and he blue eyes stare at my brown ones.

"AH!" she says jumping up. Shit. Is she scared of me? Did I just ruin our friendship with my simple words? Okay, she is making this really confusing, even though I started it.

"You okay?" I ask her as she nods and walks away from me to go change her clothing, "That was weird." I mumble, knowing it was probably because I ruined everything.

"Dude, she has been nonstop thinking about what you said to her last night." Corbyn whispered to me.

"How did you know what I said?" I ask him.

"Mind reading Zach. Like right now Alexa is in the bathroom wondering if she actually likes you or not." he said to me, trying to walk away.

"Wait, what? Does she like me?" I ask pulling him back over to get me to get answers.

"I can't say." Corbyn shrugged walking away.

"Okay, lets go guys. We need to get out of here." Sofia says packing up the bags we brought in.

"Okay, Zach, Alexa you first." Daniel said coming over to grab my hand.

"Maybe someone else should go with Zach." Alexa said nervously.

"Why?" Daniel asked, which made Alexa go quiet. "You guys are acting weird, just grab my hand." he said stretching out his arm for Alexa to grab.

Alexa quickly looked over at me but looked away once she saw me. Daniel turned us invisible and we went down the hall, entering the elevator making my heart rate go up.

"Can't we take the stairs?" I ask softly.

"That will take too long." Daniel said as he hit the buttons with his foot.

I could feel my breathing quicken as the elevator doors closed. I closed my eyes trying to calm myself down but nothing was working. I'm scared I would get trapped in an elevator or it drops to the ground smashing us inside.

I was pulled out of my thoughts when I felt a squeeze in my hand, knowing it was Alexa. I squeezed it back and could feel my nerves going away.

The elevator opened and Daniel brought us outside to the car and let go of our hands.

"Just wait in the car." he said heading off back into the hotel turning invisible again.

I stood there awkwardly as Alexa opened the car and got into the back. I followed but the air was filled with awkward tension.

"Did you mean what you said yesterday?" Alexa asked as I looked over at her.

"Yeah, why wouldn't I?" I frowned thinking about why she would think that.

"Well I don't know. Maybe you were just joking." she shrugged not breaking eye contact with me.

"No, I would never joke about my feelings towards you. I 100% meant what I said to you." I say getting up and sitting down next to her, "Did you like what I said to you?"

"At first I was confused because I happened so fast,  but I thought about it and realized I can't imagine myself with anyone else." Alexa said to me making me smile.

"So you like me?" I ask smirking.

"Oh don't flatter yourself idiot." she laughs.

"Shut up loser. But for the record I like you too." I smile. We stare at each other and all I can think about is kissing her in this moment. So I brush my hand on her face and slowly connected my lips to hers. She rubs her hand through my hair and deepens the kiss. 

I could hear voices on the outside of the van so I pull away and smile, "You messed up my hair."

"That's what you are thinking about?" Alexa laughs as the back doors open revealing Corbyn, Christina, and Daniel.

"Oh my-" Corbyn said as he read your minds on what just happened.

"Hey, guys. You should probably hurry up and get the others." I say quickly shutting Corbyn up and getting a frown from him.

"Sure, be right back." Daniel said running off again.

Soon enough Daniel got everyone to the van safely and Sofia got into the drivers seat as we drove away from the hotel.

"Where are we going?' I ask while laying in Alexa's lap as I play with the rings on my hands.

"You'll see." Sofia said.

"Wait, what? Just tell me." I pout as everyone shook their head.

"Nope, you can't know, it's a surprise." Alexa said patting my head.

"Why can't I know, cause now I really want to know." I say sitting up and looking around at everybody.

"Don't worry we will be there in a few hours." Jack said smirking at me.

"Does everyone know where we are going besides me?" I ask as everyone nods their head, laughing, "You guys are all mean." I say grabbing a bag of chips and eating them angrily.
