Daniel's POV:

I couldn't fall asleep easily. I kept drifting in and out multiple times, which was really annoying. Everyone else was asleep so I just decided to look up at the stars to calm my mind.

I don't remember what time it was, but half way through the night I heard someone mumbling and sort of whimpering.

Jack and Jonah must have heard it too cause they both woke up and looked around for what the noise was.

It was Zach. He was having a nightmare I think.

Jack immediately went over to the boy, trying to get him to wake up but Zach kept squirming in his spot mumbling a few things here and there.

"Don't hurt her...... I can't, no." he said quietly as Jonah now was trying to wake him up.

"Zach, it's just a nightmare, wake up." Jack said comforting the boy. I got up and walked over to the scene to see Zach still asleep.

"Zach." Jonah said softly putting his hand on the boys shoulder.

With a jolt Zach's eyes shot open as they wildly looked around. His breaths were really fast and deep and he was sweating a lot.

"Your okay." Jack said pulling the boy close to his chest.

"It's wasn't me, it was Lexi." he said quietly as tears silently went down his face.

"Hey, let's clear your mind." Jonah said standing up and helping Zach up, "I'll take him on a quick walk, be right back."

I watched as the two boys headed off down the beach, "I'm going to try and go back asleep." I say to Jack who's nods and does the same thing as me.

I couldn't fall asleep after the whole Zach nightmare thing. I think Jack fell back asleep pretty quick leaving me to be the only one awake again.

It's been about 30 minutes since they left for their walk, but they should be back by now. Jonah said it would be a quick short walk.

I sat up and looked around at everyone, but when I did my head instantly got a headache.

"Damn it." I said as I got up to go grab some water. I made my way over to the supplies and grab a bottle of water, drinking it to make my headache go away.

I felt it get worse, but that wasn't the weirdest thing that happened. As it got worse it felt like the world was disappearing around me. My eye sight turned white as a different scene laid across my eyes.

"Zach, it was just a nightmare. Alexa is completely okay, she is back sleeping with the others." Jonah said to the boy as the two sat down on the beach.

"I know that. But it was scary, I thought it actually was happening." Zach said quietly.

"What exactly did happen?" Jonah asked carefully, hoping to not make the boy start crying all over again.

"She was taken and tortured." he said.

"Oh, well that's not going to happen. We are in this together and if anything like that happens, we will find a way out of it." Jonah said comforting his friend.

"Yeah I know." Zach said looking down at the sand and playing with it.

"Okay, besides the point, what did Alexa say when you asked her?" Jonah asked trying to get off the topic of the nightmare.

"What do you mean?"

"You know, when you asked her to be your girlfriend." Jonah furrowed his eyebrows realizing that Zach probably didn't ask the question yet.
