Sofia's POV:

"What if I. . ." I quietly mumbled to myself as I motioned my hands to the group for them to move away from the keypad. They stood back and let me try whatever I was thinking.

If I was correct, my punch would shatter the keypad because of the impact. A normal punch wouldn't work but since I could use my super speed there would be more force and a bigger impact towards the keypad.

I took a deep breath, raising my fist and with the blink of an eye I punched the keypad into two, it falling to the ground as the sound of electricity bounced through the air.

I turned to the others who were all standing frozen at me action, "I didn't think that would work." Corbyn bluntly said. The rest nodded in agreement.

"Thanks for the support guys." I rolled my eyes and turned away from them.

As I crossed my arms I felt the sudden touch of hands grabbing my waist, pulling my body towards theirs.

"For the record, I believed in you." Daniels voice whisper through my ear, sending a shiver down my spine.

"Why thank you." I turned around in his grasp and leaned in for a soft and gentle kiss. It wasn't much but it was needed for the anxiety floating through the air right about now.

"Save the kissing for later you two." Corbyns voice popped in mid kiss, ruining the feeling.

We pulled away and both shot a glare at the boy, who just sighed and focused his attention on the now open gate. It was about 30 feet tall, towering over anything that stood next to it. I could hear the guards shuffling on the other side, making their way over to us.

"Guys, Daniel should go find the others inside because he can turn them invisible. The ones left with powers should stay out here to fight." I stated to the group, Daniels hand intertwining with mine.

"I want to come with Daniel. I can barley fight and I need to see Jack." Gabbie commented. It honestly was the best option so that this way she wouldn't be caught in the crossfire.

I gave her a small nod, "Okay, be back out as soon as possible." I said motioning to Daniel and Gabbie. My boyfriend gave me a short kiss on the side of my cheek before running over to Gabbie and turning her invisible with him.

Now it was just six of us defending off the many guards coming through the gates. They wore their standard uniforms and held guns of all sizes. A few of them had other objects like tasers and electric sticks. I realized that we needed to take cover because at any second they would be open firing.

In slow motion I ran with my speed and was able to grab Alexa, Milo, and Tate. I didn't have time to reach Corbyn and Christina but I glanced out of the corner of my eye, Corbyn grabbing Christina ready to fly up.

I dragged the three others behind our car right when the sound of bullets being shot reached through the air. I slammed my hands over my ears and crouched, kneeling down on the ground.

Next to me Alexa was trying to tell me something but the sound was too loud for me to make out any of the words she was trying to say, "WHAT!"

"I SAID, WHAT DO WE DO!" she screamed at the top of her lungs. I didn't know what to do. The four of us were crowded behind this car and above us Corbyn was flying with Christina trying not to get shot at.

To the other side of me was Milo who's face resembled one who had an idea. He instantly uncovered his ears and looked through the windows of the car to make eye contact with the tens of guards on the other side.

"What are you doing?" Tate yelled from the other side of him as we watched his eyes turn the yellow we've seen a few times.

Suddenly the shooting stops and the guards dropped down their guns to their side. I carefully stood up along with Tate and Alexa, wondering what he was doing to make them stop shooting. Corbyn and Christina flew down and landed next to us, probably wondering the same thing.
