I anxiously pace back and forth in front of our door.
Back and forth. Just waiting.
Waiting for her.
Waiting to see those beautiful hazel eyes sparkle with joy and love. Her perfect brown and blonde hair that flows in a gentle breeze. To hear that laugh that makes me smile.
Someone apparatus in front of the gate, but I don't recognize them automatically. They are too far away. They get let in by the guards and stand still for a moment.
It's Sasha.
She's really here. It's no longer a dream.
"Sasha?" I ask, in shock.
Sasha spots me, drops her trunk, and runs into my open arms. She's smiling and laughing as I twirl her around. I kiss her passionately, relishing the feeling of being back with her. She wore a stunning green plaid matching set with a black turtleneck and leggings underneath.
"You look so gorgeous," I say softly.
"I missed you so much," Sasha replies before hugging me again.
"I missed you more," I whisper into her ear before taking her hand and trunk, and walking into the house. I felt the promise ring against my finger.
This was real. Finally.
"Missed me?" Theo asks from the top of the stairs. Sasha laughs and runs up to hug him. A pang of jealousy hits me. I had heard how close Sasha, Theo, and Blaise were getting, which has kept me on edge especially while I was gone. But, I trust Sasha, so the jealousy fades.
"Well of course I did," Sasha says before Mother spots her and smiles.
"Sasha, it's so good to see you," Mother says, smiling. I bet she's happy that I'm happy. That's how it's always worked with us.
"Likewise," Sasha says politely.
"Draco, show Sasha her room, would you? Your family will be here late tonight," Mother says before heading to cook. Sasha takes my hand excitedly and I take her trunk to my room. I hope she agrees to stay with me.
"You'll be staying with me. There's a room reserved for you but," I stop.
"Yeah, I would rather be here with you," Sasha kisses my cheek before unpacking her trunk. I drape my arms over her shoulders and leave baby kisses trailing up her neck and cheek. Sasha blushes.
"You're so cute," Sasha says while placing her outfits on top of my dresser.
"I am not!" I argue, trying to hide my blush.
"Sure you aren't," Sasha jokes while placing Electra's cage on the floor. Persues happily hoots, he's been alone since I came here. I decide it's time to show Sasha her dress. I cover her eyes.
"Remember the ball I told you about? The one we host every year?" I ask. Sasha nods.
"Well, I present to you, the dress you'll be wearing. Purchased by my mother," I slowly take my hands off her eyes. Sasha's eyes grow big and she runs up to the dress hanging on my closet door.
"Oh. My. Gosh. It's gorgeous!" Sasha says excitedly while admiring the patterns and putting the dress up to her body. It looked like a perfect fit. I smile happily. I sit on my bed and pat a space next to me for Sasha. She sits next to me.
"What did I miss?" I ask. Sasha smiles, obviously, I missed a lot.
"Crabbe and Goyle caught Blaise and Pansy snogging. I questioned them with Versitatum, and they confessed to dating. Crabbe tried to ask some girls out, but they all said no. Oh, and Goyle got detention for two weeks for swearing in Snape's class. Blaise got stupid drunk and wrecked the dorms. I mean totally wrecked, it was so funny," Sasha reports. I laugh, wishing I was there with them. I pull Sasha closer.
