"Good morning!" Sasha smiles. I kiss her cheek as she holds my backpack.

"How are you feeling, love?" I ask.

"Meh. I feel fine." She says and I smile. I try to find something in her hazel orbs, but I don't find anything. We arrive at school, and of course, Cameron and Diara are waiting.

"Its our lucky day!" Diara says excitedly.

"Why?" I ask.

"All sub day!" Cameron says happily.

"Well that's good, but I'm not even here the whole day." Sasha opens her locker and takes out a few books.

"Where you going?" I ask, curious.

"Jenson said it's a surprise." Sasha giggles happily. I give her a side hug and kiss her cheek, watching her blush. Diara kisses Cameron quickly before the bell rings.

Sasha goes pale, and fast when she realizes who the substitute is.

"That's my dad." She whispers. My mouth drops. The man is the spitting image of Jenson.

"I'm gonna be sick." Sasha whispers, getting paler by the second.

"What should we do?" I ask.

"Medicine....need...medicine." She stutters. My heart races.

"Mr. Malfoy and Ms. Myers, have a seat..." He trails off, realizing her pale state.

"What's wrong with her?" Mr. Myers asks with a salty hint.

"Get her brother in here!" Diara cries, and kids run out of their seats to find Jenson. I squeeze Sasha's hand, and some color returns to her face. Jenson burst into the room.

"YOU!" He screams.

"YOU LITTLE PIECE OF HORRID TRASH!" Jenson gets held back by some kids in the class. Sasha is crying now.

"Get her out of the classroom!" Jenson orders, and I take Sasha's hand outside. We walk to our bench.

"Can you talk for me?" I ask her. She shakes her head.

"Song..." She whispers. I softly hum our song and watch as she calms down. She hums it as well, and I watch as she begins to return to normal.

"Everything's gonna be okay." I say softly and Sasha gets up.

"I'm so done being this weak!" Tears of frustration stream down her face.

"Sasha, you're not weak." I hold her hand, but she rips it away.

"You don't know that. I used to be so strong. I had to be the strong one, because no one else would be." She kept crying and began to run. I call her name over and over again, but she never turned around. I found Diara.

"Sasha's running to I don't even know where." I pant.

"Let her go. She needs to breathe." Diara holds my wrist and I calm down. She smiles sadly at me and opens her arms. I hug her, feeling assurance and comfort soar from her arms into me.

"She'll be okay. Sasha's really strong, stronger than she thinks." Diara assures.

The day went by slowly and was pretty lonely. Lunch was quiet without Sasha's chatty conversation. After school, Diara takes my hand.

"You want to see her?" She asks. I nod.

"You're going to want to comfort her, but follow my lead. Okay?" I nod and we walk to a children's park with swingset, a jungle gym, and sand on the floor. Sasha is on a swing, swinging high above everyone and everything. Diara stands at the side and I sit on a bench.

"Sasha?" She asks. Sasha begins to slow down.

"Hey..." Sasha responds softly.

"Let's swing together, okay?" Diara asks and Sasha nods. I was confused, but allow Sasha to swing and talk to Diara.

"Someone's here for you." Sasha jumps off the swing mid-air and smiles at me. I rush over to hug her.

"I can never have a normal day with you, huh?" I ask, and Sasha's eyes turn cold. A flurry of pain swipes across my cheek, and Sasha stalks off.

She slapped me.

She actually slapped me.

"If you want normal, go date Hakeema!" She spits and walks away.

"Sasha that's not what I meant!" I call, but it's no use. She has headphones in.

I flop on the bench. She was a lot of work.

But Sasha was worth it, she'll always be.
