I had a nightmare.

The same nightmare that has been plaguing my mind since Los Angeles. Sasha dying and I can't save her.

I shoot out of bed, and Sasha isn't there.

"Sasha?" I croak and she comes out of the bathroom.

"Right here. What's wrong?" She asks softly, climbing back into bed.

"Nightmare," Is all I say. Sasha smiles sadly and stays up the rest of the night, stroking my hair and humming our song. But, by five in the morning, she was gone.

"Where's Sasha?" I ask Blaise as I get ready to walk to breakfast.

"Beats me," Blaise shrugs before we enter the Great Hall. Not many people were here yet. I spot Sasha whispering with the Golden Trio, looking over a book. I approach them, and the whispering stops.

"Malfoy," Harry spits before Sasha smacks his arm.

"Be nice. I'll be just a minute, love," Sasha says kindly before returning to her work. I nod, heading back to my friends.

"Working tonight?" Theo asks me and I nod, not really caring. I watch Sasha never come back to the Slytherin table, just keep talking with the Trio. They walk to class together, still talking, and pass notes through Potions class.

"What are they talking about?" I ask Kylie, who was sitting next to Ron.

"He Who Must Not Be Named," Kylie says as we head to Divination. I suck in a breath.

"Oh," Is all I say. Great, something else that I can't help Sasha with.

Sasha doesn't come to Divination or any class after that. She was in the library, Theo told me when he had gone to get a book from the restricted section for the Vanishing Cabinet.

"They were all hunched over books and newspapers talking. Sasha seemed pretty worried. The only thing I heard was that she hasn't seen her father in almost two weeks," Theo reports as we make adjustments on the cabinet.

I nod, not saying anything after that. Someone knocks on the door.

"Draco, you in here?" Sasha asks. I open the door.

"Hey," I say, letting Sasha in. She smiles and sits down on the couch, opening the same book she was reading earlier. About ten minutes later, she leaves without saying a word.

"That's it. I'm following her," I drop my books and stalk out of the room, following Sasha as she walks through every corridor. She stops in front of the Gryffindor Common Room and knocks. Seamus opens the door.

"Myers!" He gives Sasha a hug and I feel my whole body tense up.

"Hey, Seamus. Is Harry back yet?" Sasha asks.

"Yeah come on in," I slip in at the last second and I hide. Sasha says hello to Harry and Hermione. Ron waves to Sasha since he has food in his mouth.

"So, what did you guys find?" Sasha asks. Hermione slides a piece of paper over the table and Sasha reads it.

"Okay...um...Harry and I are horcruzes. Wonderful," Sasha says sarcastically, tears filling her eyes.

"Hey," Hermione moves to be next to Sasha.

"I'm okay," Sasha lies, wiping her eyes. "Really," Hermione still sits next to Sasha, occasionally rubbing her back.

"Still nothing from your father?" Ron asks, his mouth not full of food for once.

"Nothing. I think the DeathEaters got him again," Sasha takes a shaky sip of water.

"I'm sure he's alright," Harry replies. Sasha nods.

"So, what are you going to tell Malfoy?" Harry asks.

"He's not going to know about any of this," Sasha says confidently.

"Or will I?" I come out of my hiding spot.

"What is he doing here?" Hermione asks.

"Apparently he followed me," Sasha rolls her eyes. What is wrong with her?

"Can we talk?" I ask softly.

"When I'm done, yes," Sasha says, but I grab her wrist and drag her into the hall.

"What is going on with you?" I ask, frusterated and confused at the same time.

"Elaborate, and make it quick. I have a busy scheduele," Sasha snaps. What the hell? She's never like this. Sasha is super chill, never snappy, and would give up everything to talk to me. What is going on?

"You're not acting like yourself. What's going on?" I ask warily. Sasha says nothing, only tiny tears respond to my question.

"I'm a monster, Draco," Sasha whispers. "I'm a horcruz. A human weapon," She leans against the wall, letting tiny tears fall onto her face as she doesn't make a sound. She pushes past me and heads back into the Gryffindor Common Room.

I head back to the Slytherin dorms, trying to make sense of it all. If Sasha is a horcruz, then that means the only way to...

She would have to die.

No, no I can't let that happen. I sit on our bed trying to control the spinning thoughts in my head. Before my mind can explode, a knock comes at the door.

"Who is it?" I ask.

"I forgot the key," Sasha says sheepishly, and I feel a sense of normalacy return. Sasha's always forgetting her dorm key. I open the door. She looks tired, worn, and hurt.

"Hey," I say softly.

"Hey. I'm sorry for snapping at you, it was uncalled for," Sasha says sadly, looking down.

"It's alright. Come here," I give her a hug and plant a kiss on her head. She softly cries.

"Hey, you're not a monster. You couldn't control this. I'll still love you, alright?" I promise before another knock comes at the door. Sasha lets go from my embrace to open the door.

"Dad?!" Sasha hugs her father, who smiles.

"I'm sorry I wasn't responding to your letters. I must have given you quite a fright," Evan says. Sasha nods.

"Sasha, we need to leave. Pack your things," Evan says sternly.

"What? Why?" Sasha asks, tears once again forming in her now dim hazel eyes.

"You aren't safe here anymore, Sasha. Plus, you need to be kept somewhere where you are watched carefully. Pack your things, now. You have twenty minutes to pack and say your goodbyes," And with that, the time starts.

Twenty minutes.

It may be the last twenty minutes for a long time.

Sasha's breath was hitched, shocked, devastated. "No, no I'm not leaving," She whispers, but packs like her father asked. She finished packing, then takes down her pictures. When she was all packed, she hugs me.

"I don't wanna go," Sasha sniffles. I kiss her slowly.

"Hey," I lift her chin. "You'll write to me?" I ask.

"I'll try. My dad may not allow it," We both nod.

"Five minutes!" Evan calls from outside. Sasha takes my hand and for the last five minutes, we stay like that.

"I love you," Sasha whispers before the door closes, tears in both of our eyes.
