Someone stirs beside me on the cold floor. I sit up, realizing that Sasha and I fell asleep here last night. I stretch my back. Never do this before a Quidditch match, I remind myself. Sasha sits up.

"Morning," She says in her perfect sleepy voice. She stretches and starts to comb her finger through her hair. She kisses my cheek before standing up.

"Morning," I reply, standing up while Sasha folds the soft blanket. Sasha leaves the room with my hand in hers and I head to get ready for the match. Flint has been on my case about beating Gryffindor, so I have to be prepared.

When I fly out onto the field, I could feel the excitement in the air. The Slytherin stands erupt with cheers while we begin to warm up. I spot Sasha in the middle row with her friends, smiling and cheering. The Gryffindors fly out, and they try to match our cheer but fail miserably. When the match begins, I felt a small pang of fear. What if we lost? What if Potter beat me again? The whistle blows before my mind jumps down the rabbit hole.

I accelerate forward, looking for the Golden Snitch, or even a hint. Crabbe pushes Ginny Weasley down, but she stays steady and attacks him next. I keep looking, praying it would come soon. The match drags on, with Slytherin and Gryffindor each exchanging points. Blaise faked out Oliver Wood and Ron Weasley perfectly, landing a beautiful shot. Sadly, Wood got back at us when he made an unbelievable shot which went in. At this point, I was losing hope.

Until I saw it flutter right by Sasha.

It was right there.

I sped towards the Snitch and caught it in my hands.

"Slytherin has won!" Lee Jordan calls, and the stands erupt in cheers. Sasha cheers the loudest and I fly over to her, handing her the Snitch.

"Love you," I whisper into her ear before leaving. Sasha smirks before blushing. She inspects it in her hands while the girls gush over my gesture.

"Ooh Malfoy, soft on your girl, eh?" Nott comments. Blaise smirks and shakes his head. I roll my eyes.

"What are we waiting for? We won, didn't we? Let's go celebrate, but don't get too wasted. We still have Sasha's party tonight," The team cheers and heads back to the dungeons.

The Slytherins cheer loudly, holding glasses of drinks in their hands when we enter. Blaise and Theo head to their adoring fans, all girls, while I head to Sasha. I have to hand it to her, she has amazing style. She wore cool black and green jeans with a black shirt and a green denim jacket.

"Congratulations!" Sasha hugs me happily. She's all smiles, but I know our fight last night still hurts her.

"You okay?" I ask her quietly.

"Never better. Why?" Sasha takes a sip of her drink and makes a face.

"Just wondering," I lie. Sasha nods, still a bit shaken by the drink.

"Oi, Zabini, you trying to poison me before my party?" Sasha jokes, making the boys laugh.

"I'm glad you get along with them," I comment while Sasha watches everyone. She especially watches Pansy dancing with Blaise.

"They're nice guys once you get to know them," Sasha replies. I take her hand.

"Dance with me, Myers," I whisper lowly and she smirks.

"Sure, why not?" I twirl her onto the dance floor and we have a good time. I'll admit once again that I suck at dancing, but Sasha's not too bad. The party ends around three, leaving everyone four hours to change and prepare the Room of Requirements for the party. Sasha's friends run off with her, giggling about the dress she's going to wear and how stunning she'll look. Someone grabs my wrist.

"You hit my cousin?" Harry seethes.

"None of your business," I bark back.

"It is too my business. She shouldn't even be with you," Harry argues back.

"UGH, not this again," An annoyed voice calls from the bottom of the stairs. Sasha rolls her eyes and comes closer to us.

"Sorry love, but to be fair, Potter started it," I give Harry a look and he opens his mouth, frustrated.

"Are you seventeen or seven? Seriously you two, you're acting like primary school children on the playground," Sasha says, disappointed.

"Sorry," Harry says quietly.

"Sorry, love," I say.

Sasha smirks. "Thank you," She pecks my cheek before walking back to the dorms. Harry rolls his eyes before making his way back to the Gryffindor Common Room. I get dressed in my all-black suit, leaving my hair ungelled for Sasha, then head to the Room to prepare for the party. Diara and Cameron are already there.

"Dray!" Cameron comes up to hug me, smiling. Diara smirks and hugs me as well.

"You guys are early," I note. Diara smiles, playing with her bracelets.

"We need to talk to you about Sasha," Cameron says nervously. They both lead me to a table.

"What's wrong?" I ask, worried. Diara sucks in a breath.

"It's Jenson. He's been super depressed without Sasha, it's getting hard to watch. I think he's going mental without seeing her. We wanted to tell her, but we're scared she's going to freak out," Diara says sadly.

"Well no need, because she's been depressed here, too. I think bringing her here was a mistake. All she does is wish you were here," I reply. Cameron smiles sadly, but the door opens. Jenson and Issac walk in wearing matching suits without ties.

"Hello hello," Diara says, fist-bumping her brothers. Cameron palm slaps them both and they have a seat.

"Everything ready for the party?" Jenson asks and everyone nods. The door opens once again to reveal Isabella and Ezra.

"Draco dear, how lovely to see you!" Isabella hugs me.

"You too," I reply and Ezra hugs me. The door opens and Sasha enters.

^What she is wearing.

Sasha hugs her stepparents and says hello to everyone else. I remind myself to breathe, Sasha looks stunning.

"You look amazing," I whisper while everyone else fixes something for the party.

"Likewise," She replies, playing with my hair. I kiss her cheek and everyone begins to arrive. I can't help but feel horrible for Sasha. Her mother is dead, her father in danger, yet she manages to put a smile on her face every single day. It must be difficult, and she must know that.

Little does she know she may never be able to look at me the same way again.
