Should I do it?

I stared at María for a second.

I saw the pure emotion of anger that filled her eyes completely.

The I did it...

I felt the rush of adrenaline kick in and push me over the edge.

I grabbed her hand that was pointing at me and used it to pull her closer.

My own emotions began to take over my body the closer she got to me.

I was still holding her hand as my other was rested on her back so I could hold her.

I leaned in closer, I put my lips on hers.
It was impulsive... but I craved it.

~María's POV~

I was extremely angry.

I didn't expect him to pull me in. But he held me like he never had before.

He put his lips on mine.

I decided to let him kiss me. Was I doing this out of spite, or because I've missed this feeling, or maybe because I've always had a little crush on him?

The embrace went on for a few more seconds.

Until he pulled away from me. I grabbed onto his arms for support.

Wait what just happened?

I quickly looked up at him, but he couldn't make eye contact with me.

He avoided my gaze completely.

He backed up a little and began to rub his face while he groaned in disapproval.

"I'm sorry. I'm so damn sorry María..." he sounded so distressed. I tried to get closer but he gently pushed me away.

He does this NOW?

As I looked in his eyes, all I saw was fear.

"But that better fucking show you how much I care about you María," he grabbed my books and opened the door to the building, he stood there waiting for me to walk in.

I've had feelings for him for as long as I've known him.

As we walked, it was silent.

He's been rejected my feelings for years.

"I failed your brothers. I failed you," I wanted to object but I knew that if my brothers were to find out, Parker would be dead.

And what does he do?

We finally got to class.

He fucking goes and kisses me.

"Where have you two been?" Mr. Harrison seemed annoyed.

"It took longer to dry than I thought it would," he looked down a his shirt.

Lame excuse.
