꧁~Excuse?~(Part XIX)꧂

I looked directly into Chris's eyes so he could see my face.

"María what happened?"

"So, how are you Chris?" I stood, trying to look more confident than I actually was.

.You're a mess.

"You," he raised his brow, "You, didn't answer my question."

"It's not important how I'm doing," I crossed my arms and walked past him.

I was making my way to the kitchen, when two arms snatched me. The arms pulled me closer, becoming tighter.

No. No. No. No. No.

"No, no, no," I squirmed, trying to get away, "Chris, please."

I thought he wouldn't.

"Let her go." Techno yelled at his brother.

As the arms wrapped around my upper body and lifted me off the ground, I started to whimper. I began to feel the weight on my chest.

I was then squeezed into an excruciatingly tight hug. I finally let out a groan as pressure was put on my chest. The pain was indescribable.

I soon blocked out the background noises.

I felt tears burn my eyes. I began to cry uncontrollably.

I heard yelling that sounded distant.

I was quickly let go of and put down on my feet. I stumbled, not able to balance, I slumped on a wall.

I shut my eyes as I tried to deal with the pain. Finding it hard to breathe, I slid down the side of the wall.

I felt someone get close to me but I shoved them away.

I was terrified.

"Please," I whimpered.

I can't handle this.

~Techno's POV~

Before I could say anything, Chris came up from behind María and grabbed her.

He was laughing, but she had the opposite reaction.

María desperately tried to get out of the hold.

"No, no, no," she sounded distressed, "Chris, please."

"Let her go," I tried to pull my brother away from the girl.

When he lifted her up, she let out multiple whimpers.

What the hell?

Chris hugged the girl. María let out a painful groan that bounced off the walls.

My heart dropped.

"María!" I began to freak out.

I made my way around my brother and saw the girl now crying.

Chris stood there in shock.

"Put her down!"

Chris snapped back to reality and released the girl. He cautiously retreated from the girl.
