When the first week of October came around Amelia was glad for the two weeks off. The last two shows she has been battling with a sore throat.

Just to be able to sing and act in the show she's had to spend most of her days in silence and eating throat sweets.

She woke the first day of her two weeks of to her door buzzer going off but doesn't have the energy to move when it stops her relaxes back into her pillow. About five minutes later she heard Gwilym's voice and the front door opening, "Milly?" Groaning she waits for him to find her.

Gwilym noticed the silence in the flat, that paired with the fact that she hadn't answered the buzzer and her flat door was unlocked was concerning, it was Linda that let him up in the end. He called out her name and heard a soft groan followed by Romeo meowing loudly near his food bowl.

"Hey buddy, where is she huh?" Pushing the bedroom door open he finds her in bed lay on her side with her covers wrapped tightly around her.

"Milly? Are you alright?" He kneels next to the bed feeling her forehead, she's warm to the touch and when she opens her eyes they are tired and watery.

Her voice is hoarse when she speaks, "My throat feels like I've swallowed a pine cone and I have no energy to move. I'm so cold but can you do me a favour and feed Romeo? He's been meowing at his bowl for a while I just can't move."

Sighing Gwilym removes his jacket, "Are you hungry? When did you last eat?"

He thought for a moment she'd fallen asleep when her eyes closed but then she answers, "Before the show yesterday. I only had enough energy to feed Romeo before collapsing into bed last night. I'm a little hungry but my throat hurts too much for anything big."

"Give me a minute," Gwilym goes to the kitchen to see if there's any soup in the cardboard, his luck falls seeing that she hasn't got much in at all. He knows she goes food shopping every two weeks so this much have been her week to go.

He feeds Romeo then goes back to the bedroom pulling his jacket back on, "Milly, I've feed Romeo but I'm just going to nip to the shop down the road."

Amelia lifts her head slightly, "Take my key, it's in my jacket pocket by the door. You can let yourself in then."

Smiling he kisses her forehead, "I won't be too long."

When Gwilym gets back Amelia has a little more energy and gets out of bed, covers wrapped around her. She quietly makes her way to the kitchen where she can hear Gwilym moving about.

Standing in the doorway not making a sound she watches him tiredly scaring the wits out of him when he turns around, "Christ! Don't do that Milly."

"Sorry," She smiles laughing inside.

"How are you feeling?" He asks turning back to the stove.

"Not as cold and I have the energy to move at least. I'm hungry too, what are you making?" She stands behind him wrapping her arms around his middle leaning against his back.

"Chicken soup, I got you a few other bits to last until you have the energy to go to the shop yourself. There's some soft bread to go with this if you feel up to it."

"What part of heaven did you escape from?" She kisses the exposed skin on the back of his neck before turning to the shopping bag on the table.

He'd brought her milk, bread, soup, cheese, a few other bits and... "These come as part of the essentials do they?" She grins holding up the two DVD boxes.
