Hours and hours passed the two girls as they flew to their fallen friends. Ella pointed to East Watch to the Dragon Queen, indicating that they weren't that far off. Just a few flap of the wings, and they would be to Jon and the others.

Ella looked ahead as they passed a slew of mountains. In the distance, Ella saw large snow clouds rolling over the highest mountain, a mountain shaped like an arrowhead. That's where they were. The Night King and his army, along with Jon and their friends in the midst of the storm.

"They have to be over there," Ella shouted to the Dragon Queen as the dragons hovered midair for a moment. "Whenever the Night King is present, large storm clouds like that appear! We have to keep going, or they'll all be finished!"

Daenerys nodded her head, understanding Ella. The Mother of Dragons commander her children in a foreign language. Viserion jolted behind his mother and brothers, charging towards the Night King and his army.

Daenerys and Ella flew cautiously through the snow clouds, unsure of what they may encounter. Ella clung to Viserion as they dipped in the air. Maybe if they weren't so high, they'd be at a better vantage point.

And just like that, Ella heard ear piercing shrieks from below. The three dragons glided through a tiny break in the cloud, following the shrieks. They were high enough in the sky that Ella could still see the enormous amounts of undead swarming to the middle of a frozen lake.

Ella and Daenerys spotted their friends instantly. The red hair of Tormund Giantsbane caught the eye of the lone wolf. Panic filled her body as she watched from above while he and her brother were fighting off wight after wight.

Rhaegal swooped down first, releasing a loud roar as he closed in on the Army of the Dead. The large dragon breathed fire upon the wights closest to Jon, cutting through the sheet of ice and setting the dead men ablaze.

The dragon and the wolf flew past each other while their dragons rained fire on the Night King's Army. Hundreds of wights were set on fire as the two dragons danced around in the sky, setting fire to the dead men below.

Rhaegal and Viserion pulled back into the sky as their mother landed on the small island next to her companions. The two dragons circled the wights once again, torching those who tried to get close to the Dragon Queen.

Daenerys took this time to help the stranded men climb onto Drogon's back to safety. Ella watched from above as Viserion flew to the opposite side of the frozen , keeping her eyes on Tormund and Jon. Jon attempted to climb on Drogon, until he was pulled back by a rogue wight. The wight charged at her brother, causing Jon to fight him off. Tormund and the rest of the raiding party managed to climb to safety as Drogon breathed large balls of fire and extinguished multiple wights charging at them.

Ella managed to pull Viserion around and circle back to Daenerys and the others. Her main focus in that moment was getting to her brother. He wasn't going to make it out alive if he continued to fight the wights off. Viserion released another downpour of fire onto the wights below. Ella patted the dragon on the back, silently thanking him for defeating so many members of the Night King's army.

Just as Viserion began his descent, Ella glanced to the highest cliff overlooking the wights. Her eyes widened as the Night King glided through a patch of flames unscathed. She noticed a spear made of ice in his right hand. He lifted the spear into the air, aiming it directly at her and the dragon. He released the object, sending it through the air.

Before Ella could fully move Viserion back, the spear found its way to the dragon's neck. Viserion cried out in pain before falling from the sky. Ella clung to the horns protruding from Viserion's back as they tumbled down.

The dragon collided with the ice, sending Ella flying off his back. She landed hard against the ice, several meters from the fallen dragon. Tears fell from her eyes as the beautiful creature slid beneath the ice and down into the frozen lake. The poor creature wad dead because of her foolishness, and Ella knew she would never forgive herself for this. She caused the Dragon Queen to lose a precious and magical child. In her heart, Ella knew Daenerys Targaryen would not forget this incident.

Ella soon pushed herself up off the ice, only to notice a small gash with blood slowly trickling down her side. The fall off Viserion caused her to land harder on her side than she thought. She pressed her hand to the wound. The lone wolf frantically looked around, noticing a swarm of wights heading her way. Her eyes searched for Daenerys and the others. The Dragon Queen wore a saddened look at the sight of her fallen child while Jon continued to fight off the wights.

In the distance, Ella could see the Night King pick up another spear. The lone wolf yelled out to the Mother of Dragons to leave before she lost another child. Daenerys looked to Ella, then down to Jon. He continued to fight off wight after wight as the Night King prepared to kill his next victim. The wights surrounding the raiding party became still as he locked eyes with the lone wolf.

"Go, now!" Ella shouted. The small girl kept pressure on her side as the bleeding worsened. She hobbled across the ice, trying to make it to her brother in time. By the grace of the gods above, Ella managed to reach Jon just in time.

A herd of wights made their way onto the frozen ice, scrambling to get to the raiding party. Daenerys outstretched her hand to the Snow twins, but instantly drew it back. There was no chance of saving them and the others. Ella and the Dragon Queen locked eyes. Ella nodded her head, knowing she was about to die. If they stayed behind, that gave Daenerys and the others a chance to escape safely.

Jon continued to fight off the wights in the hopes of saving the party. Jon turned to Ella as he sliced his sword through a trio of wights. The white wolf wore the same expression upon his face as she, a look of doom.

Ella hung her head, knowing there was nothing they could do. This would be the end of the bastards of Winterfell. Soon they would join their father and brothers.

Ella slipped her hand into her brother's. If she was going to go out like this, she wanted to be close to the person who was with her from the start. The small girl refused to look back at Tormund before they were tackled by wights. The last thing she wanted to do was watch the man she loved lose another companion to the Army of the Dead.

Wights charged at the twins from either side of the lake. Ella looked to Jon one last time, before a group of wights tackled them. The Snow twins disappeared beneath the surface of the icy water, as Daenerys tugged on her dragon to fly into the sky, leaving behind her dead child and her new friends, Jon and Ella Snow.
