*at secret base*

I started to slowly wake up, I tried opening my eyes but the light was blinding, I squinted. I listened to hear anything that sounds familiar. But the only thing I heard was footsteps and keyboards.

Voice1: " she is waking up, go get Conrad"

Voice2: " yes sir"

I tried opening my eyes again this time trying to lift my head up,

Y/n: "what the hell" I mumbled as I saw that I was chained to a chair. " was this all necessary"I looked over at the man who was standing in-front of me with a a set of medical tools.

Doctor: " hello Ms. Stark, yes it was very much a necessity." He then opened up my eyes and shunned a flashlight init. "You should be fine". He turned around and walked back to where he was.

Y/n: "how long have I been out for"

Doctor: " 48hours."

Y/n: "48hours!" I was shocked

Doctor: " yes you got hit with multiple darts, I would have expected you to be out for another week but,"

Conrad: " ah your up" Conrad walked in cutting him off. "Doc is she able to walk"

Doctor: "Yes she should be able to"

Conrad: " alright now get her up boys"

He signalled for these two armed men to walk in. They approached me and untied my arms from the chair. They then pushed me to the ground and handcuffed me and chained my legs.

Y/n: " come on really" I looked at him while they chained me up " I'm not an animal"

Conrad: "you act like one, you shall be treated like one" he then grabbed my arm and lead me out of the room.

Walking down the corridor I started to realise where we were. It was the first base camp we built on the other half of the island before heading to the middle. I watched through the different class framed windows as they experimented on animals and other humans.

Y/n: " why?" I asked while stopping at a lab like door

Conrad: "why not?" He unlocked the door and pushed me inside. I was now standing on a balcony area with stair cases on either end, I walked up closer to the banisters to see people working on what was my reactor.
We then walked down the stairs and headed to the window that over looked the island. I ended up catching a glimpse of the balcony area which happened to be a massive shark tank with one of the experimented on sharks was swimming around.

Conrad: "it's time for you to get to work" he took of my handcuffs and the ones on my feet. "Now be a good girl".

Y/n: " I don't understand what I'm here to do"
I shouted back at him.

Person1: "here is your lab coat Ms. Stark" I looked at the man who looked almost nervous to see me.

Y/n: "thanks" I smiled and looked round at my surroundings

Person1: " we are building your reactor but it's not helpful with all the burnt blue prints" he pointed to the half burnt prints that survived the blast.

Y/n: "do I have full control of this area" I watched as people type away on the desk top.

Person1: " yes ma'am"

Y/n: "good" I walked over to the big window that over looked the working area "MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION!" I shouted through all the noise, clearly I wasn't loud enough. I looked at the desk and saw a flask I picked it up and dropped it. Then they all turned to face me. "Now that I have your attention, I would like to say fuck off every single one of you, except for you" I pointed at the boy who gave me the lab coat. "NOW LEAVE" I shouted and watched as they mumbled and left.

Person1: " we need them ms. Stark" he was finished cleaning the mess I made with the glass

Y/n: "no I don't" I watched as Conrad looked at me smiling.

After a few more hours I drew up an new design idea.

Person1: "so we are starting from scratch"

Y/n: "exactly"

Person1: " alright then"

We spent the next few days in the lab working non-stop as this was not only going to cause mass destruction but be my ticket out of this place.

                          *Week one*

Conrad: "don't you think you should sleep"

Y/n: "so you can stab me while I dream about killing you" I smirked while screwing in a screw.

Conrad: "when would this be done"

Y/n: "when I'm finished"

Conrad: " you know when I found out who you were I was shocked"

Y/n: "most people are"

Conrad: "But it never changed what I thought of you"

Y/n: " if this is just going to be you talking shit, then I suggest you leave me to work in peace" I dropped the tool on the table and looked at him.

Conrad: "we would have been so good together"

Y/n: " but I realised you were an evil son of a bitch"

Conrad: "you just attract the mentality and emotionally unstable ones"

Y/n: " seems like I do" I started typing at the keyboard

Conrad: "how is she?" I looked at him "she did leave you for him right"

Y/n: " yes" i heard my voice crack

Conrad: " ah it still hurts doesn't it" he leaned over the barrier and tapped the computer screen

Y/n: "yes but killing you shall take all my pain away" I swatted his hand away from the screen

Conrad: "well I shall leave you to it" he then got up and walked out.

I couldn't help but remember the day when WanDa told me about Vision, even after I confessed my feelings towards her. I rolled my eyes at the thought.
'Just move on y/n' I thought to myself then dive back into the computer.

Person1: "Ms.Stark it's time"

Y/n: "yes I forgot"

It was test run day to see how much energy this might take up.
We went to stand behind a blast shield just in case.
"Start it up"
He pushed the button and blue light started powering up around the reactor creating a swarm of energy around it. 'Come on come on' I mumbled to myself. The lights started flickering on and off and the ground started shaking

Person1: "we should turn it off"

Y/n: " No" I grabbed the button "not yet a few more seconds" I watched as the tables and everything started to move towards the reactor

Conrad: "turn it off" he came up from behind us pushing me to wall and grabbing the button, then switching it off.

Y/n: "Perfect" I smiled looking at the reactor.

Person1: "did it work"

Y/n: " yes it did just that."

Conrad: " well done Stark"

Y/n: " what are you doing?"

Conrad: "your job here is done"
