After hours of spending in the lab working with Dad and Dr.Banner we went through multiple design ideas, and tried to find different natural elements that can replace the chemicals.

We decided to take a break, I stayed in the lab looking at all the design ideas. Then pulled out one of my first project ideas that didn't work. I started adjusting some of the things and adding in new bits to it.

Parker: "hey Y/n" Parker's voice came from behind me

Y/n: "hey" I carried on flicking through this skateboard project idea

Parker: "how are you" he approached the desk looking at what I was doing

Y/n: " good go-, can you pass me that metal board" I pointed over to the wall that had a metal skateboard hanging.

Y/n: " can't believe he kept this" I laughed at the fact that dad kept my first ever creation.

Parker: "here you go" he handed it to me then sat on my favourite chair and spun round it.

I glanced up at him and chuckled. I carried on doing the modifications I have drawn up on my blueprints onto the board. I then looked back up to see him staring at me.

Y/n: " Is there something wrong Parker" I glanced back down at the board.

Parker: "uhh no well yes" he started fidgeting with the pen.

Y/n: "what is it, just tell me"

Parker: "well I-"

Loki: " I have a question for you"
I looked at the door where Loki just stormed in from

Y/n: " ah Loki, how are you?"

Loki: " cut the small talk princess."

Y/n: "okay then" I placed the screwdriver down " what is it?"

Loki: "is my competition really a woman?"

Y/n: " you mean Nat?" I looked over at Parker who was now looking at me awaiting my answer "I guess that's what you wanted to ask me too."
Y/n: "well it's not" I looked at the both of them then picked pack up my screwdriver and went back to work.

Loki: " hm that's great to know."

Y/n: " does that satisfy you?"

Loki: " I'm sure you can think of others way to satisfy me" I chuckled at his remark

Y/n: "I would like you to let me get back to work"

Loki: " as you wish" he turned around and left.
I dropped my tool and mentally screamed, is it always going to be like this, ahhhh I want to yeet myself.

Parker: " should I- um go" I looked up at Parker he was the only one that didn't annoy me and let's me work in silence.

Y/n: " No, Stay" I smiled at him " you can help me" I nodded towards my messy work table.

Parker: " yeah sure whatever you need"

Y/n: " okay so now I need the um" I clicked my fingers trying to remember the too-

Parker: " this one" He handed me the tool I was looking for

Y/n: "yes thank you, now start working on  the next engine" I pointed at another messed up part.

We worked the hours away, while F.R.I.D.A.Y blasted our favourite songs in the room and we danced while working, Dad walked past a couple of times and simple rolled his eyes at our childish behaviour.

F.R.I.D.A.Y: "y/n you have a voice mail from an unknown number, would you like me to play it"

Y/n: "yes go on" I helped Parker as he fixed the wheels.
