Flashback

[this takes part in the time when Loki was in prison in Asgard and Y/n and Thor spend more time together, Chapter 37 if you need to refresh your noggin 👩🏽‍🏫.]

Asgard

I woke up to another empty bed, the light shun through brushing against my skin.
I rolled round and finally decided to wake up and out of bed.

Today me and Thor would head back to Earth to celebrate Dads birthday.
It may seem like the wrong timing, seeing as Loki is locked up somewhere in the prisons.

After I got changed I head over to the bifrost to meet with him. Even though I have been in Asgard for a while I am always in awe of its beauty and its people.

Thor: "Y/n!" He waved at me as I approached the golden globe, Hemidell towering over him, who also had a smile on his face.

Y/n: "Let's get our party on." I nudged him in the rib cage.

Thor: "See you soon my friend."

Just like that we were back on earth, surrounded by balloons and people setting up the tower for the party.

Tony: "Sunflower , welcome back" he pulled me in for a hug.

Y/n: "Happy birthday dad." I kissed his cheek as he smiled at me.

Thor: "Happy birthday Tony."
He patted his back.

Tony: "Thank you pointbreak."

Parker: "Thor!"

Thor: "Kid!" He ran up to him leaving me and dad snickering as they hugged.

Tony: "How you holding up?" He placed an arm around my shoulder as we walked towards Mom and Nat.

Y/n: "I'm doing good." I fidgeted with my fingers.

Tony: "Hey, Today is a good day, so enjoy yourself." He kissed my hair and then ruffled it.

Nat: "Yeah it's time to party!" She sang as she pulled me in for a hug.

Y/n: "Alright ladies time to get beautiful."

It was loud as the room filled with music and people, everyone was laughing and drinking.

Me and Parker were dancing in front of the DJ booth with Shuri and Ned, while everyone was deep in their own conversations.

Y/n: "I'm going to get a drink!"
I shouted in his ear.

Parker: "Alright!" He yelled back while bobbing his head to the music.

I walked over to the bar, Nat, Steve and Thor were stood round drinking.

Nat: "Hey beautiful." She smiled as I pinched her sides.

Y/n: "Hey." I signalled the bartender to make my drink.

Steve: "Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves." We were all leading on our elbows watching the dance floor.

Thor: "Yes indeed." He sipped his glass.

Y/n: "Where is Wanda?" I took my glass from the bartender.

Nat: "No idea, I think she went to the toilet." I nodded my head.

After a few hours of talking, drinking and laughing, we were all now a little bit tipsy. The music slowed down as the night was about to end.
Mom and Dad took to the dance floor along with Steve and Nat. They all looked so loved up.
Shuri, Parker and Ned where trying to stay awake as they laid on the couch.
Leaving me and Thor at the bar having a drinking competition.

Thor: "You should give up!" He slammed his shot glass on the counter.

Y/n: "Fill her up." I whipped my mouth, then licked my lips, he laughed as we both picked back up the shot glasses.

Thor: "You look like your going to fall!" He held the tip of the glass to his lips, and raised his brows at me.

Y/n: "I am perfectly fine." That was a lie as I knew if I tried to walk I will fall.

He simply smirked, the bartender counted us down and we took the shot, I squinted my eyes as it hit the back of my throat, stretching out my tongue and shaking my head, my eyes starting to tear up.

Thor: "Well done Lady Y/n, didn't think you had it in you." He stood up his legs wobbling a little as he tried to balance himself.

Y/n: "Look who is going to fall." I chuckled as I handed the bartender the glasses back.

After about 30 minutes the party had ended and me and Thor were stumbling back into our rooms.

Y/n: "You are extremely heavy." I laughed as I pulled him through the hall.

Thor: "Are you calling me fat?"
He gave me a surprised look.

Y/n: "Yes." I stopped and leaned against the wall.

We both sighed as we slid down the wall.

Y/n: "This is your fault you know." I flicked his ear.

Thor: "You challenged me." He laughed.

We both sat quietly looking up at the blank wall. I sighed and stood back, trying not to fall back down.

Y/n: "Time for bed Thorella" I ruffled his hair and leaned against my bedroom door.

Thor: "Night." He slid up the wall and held on to his door.

Y/n: "Okay bye." I gave him a little smile.

Thor: "See you." He looked down at his feet.

We both stood silently and took little glances at each other.

Y/n: "Wanna do some star gazing?"
He nodded in agreement.

We looked up at the sky both of us wrapped up in blanket, we sat silently as we enjoyed the atmosphere trying to sober ourselves.

I felt as he rested his head on my shoulder, I smiled to myself and rested mine on his.

Thor: "Y/n?" He lifted his head and looked over at me.

Y/n: "What's wrong?" I frowned my brows at him.

Thor: "Is it bad that I want to kiss you right now?"
I was taken back and glanced down at my hand then back up at him.

Y/n: "Y-Yes.." I stuttered out.

Thor: "Yeah your right," I could see that he was almost sadden by my reaction ", just th-"

I don't know if it was the alcohol or the fact that I missed the touch of Loki, but I kissed him. I cupped his face and kissed him.
As I pulled away I didn't regret it, and I could tell that neither did he.
He placed his palm on my cheek and pulled me back in. His lips were smooth and his kisses were light as he pressed against mine.

Y/n: "I-" I licked my lips and looked down at my hands bitting my lower lip.

Thor: "Let's not uh- you know-" he pulled away and avoid my gaze.

Y/n: "Yeah-" I cleared my throat and looked back out at the New York sky.
