After spending the day at the beach, everyone was exhausted. Sapphire was unable to think about anything but the fact that Aleisha completely hates Sapphire. Once Luke and Sapphire got back to his house to have the rest of the night either to themselves or to do whatever Sapphire wanted to do. Whether it was to go out to a club, relax at home, or just stay in doing nothing.
"Why does Aleisha hate me so much?" She asked
"I seriously doubt she hates you" he said "and even if she does who cares"
"I hate to say it but I care, I don't think I've done anything wrong to her and she shouldn't hate me for it"
"Then why don't you just go ask her why she does or if she does"
"That's a little weird....i'll think of something"
The two of them sat in Luke's bedroom for a while just sitting and talking together until Mackenzie and Calum barged into the room.
"Hey lovebirds you guys gotta come check this out" Mackenzie said pulling them into the living room
On the TV was an Australian news caster for a popular rock/pop magazine. She was talking about 5 Seconds Of Summer and their day at the beach.
"Now, we know the band commonly referred to as 5sos are on tour right now but here we have them at the beach together with four girls. One of the girls however is dating the lead singer of the band Luke Hemmings" she said "now we don't know much about this girl other than things we can infer by her social media pages" she continued "it seems that this girl was once part of a high class rich family but ended up with just a lot of money and nothing else to keep her going in this world".
They all watched the screen as they saw the pictures of them that day on the beach. Confused as to how they got footage that fast.
"It was Aleisha I know it" Sapphire said
"Hold on Sapphire, you don't know that" Liz said entering the room
"Look guys who cares" Luke said
"I'll be back in a little while. I need to go for a walk" Sapphire said leaving the house "If Aleisha wants to bring my personal life into this she's got something else coming her way"
As Sapphire stormed out of the house she was completely angry. Her entire world was turning upside down right before her eyes.
But back at the house the girls were completely shocked at to what they just heard.
"Is what that woman just said true?" Kyleigh asked
"Yeah it is all true" Liz said
"Why didn't she just tell us the truth" Sophia asked
"She didn't have the heart to tell anyone the truth" Liz said
"Well we have to go find her. Like now" Mackenzie said
Sophia and Kyleigh grabbed their long boards and Mackenzie remained on foot as they were going down the different streets to find Sapphire before she found Aleisha. Mackenzie was sprinting down all the streets trying to find her. While Sophia and Kyleigh traveling slightly in front of her looking as well. The guys stayed behind at the house to see if the woman was saying anything else about their friend.
Sapphire finally got to Aleisha's house and she went up and knocked on the door. But when she knocked before anyone came to the door Sophia trailed behind her telling her not to this. And then Kyleigh and Mackenzie showed up behind Sophia.
"Sophia what are you guys doing here?"
"Trying to stop you from making a mistake. It doesn't matter that you didn't tell us about your personal life, your still our best friend" Sophia said
"Don't let this ruin your birthday" Mackenzie said
The front door of Aleisha's house opened and she came outside with a smile on her face but it quickly went away as soon as she saw the girls standing there on her porch.
"Why are you guys here? Where are the guys?" Aleisha asked
"Ummmm......" Kyleigh said
"We're here because we were wondering if you were still into Luke all this time after you guys have been broken up" Sophia said
"I'll always love Luke, he was my first boyfriend"
"Well he's my boyfriend now and I would like you to respect that" Sapphire said
"Well maybe it isn't what you want. It's what Luke wants. And if he wants you that badly he'd put a picture of you in his room but he didn't he put mine there" she said
"That's no reason to pry into Sapphire personal life and leak our day at the beach because of it"
"You know what. We're out of here. Let's go guys. I'm not going to make a mistake on her when I could be with my boyfriend" Sapphire said being the first one to leave the porch
They walked away from Aleisha's house and when they got to the side walk they noticed a shadow running down the street. Not thinking anything of it they rode back to Luke's house. Mackenzie Sophia sat on the edge of the two long boards while Kyleigh and Sapphire stood on the other edge and pushed the board quickly down the street to gain speed.
When they finally got back to the house Ashton, Michael, and Calum were sitting in the living room waiting for them to get back safely.
"I'm so sorry guys!" Sapphire said "I should have told all of you the truth from the beginning" "you all are so important to me and I don't want to lose you because of some girl"
"Sapphire we don't blame you for anything. Your important to us too not just because your Luke's girlfriend but because your family to us now" Ashton said
"Speaking of Luke where is he" Sophia asked
"He went to look for you guys but he just got back and went straight into his room"
Sapphire ran to his room and went inside. When she walked in she thought at first that she was in the wrong room because everything in Luke's room was different. The bed was different. All of his old pictures were exchanged and his posters were moved to the other side of the wall.
"Hey shadow" she said coming and sitting down on his bed as he was standing by his desk. "I know it was you out there by the street"
"You know what i love most about you"
"Whats that?"
"You never question your abilities" he said "you went to Aleisha's house with an intention. Your character was meant to do one thing but your heart helped you do another"
"Well they say 'show me how you ride and i'll show you who you are' "
"I took away the picture over there" he said as he stepped aside and revealed his new desk appearance
"Why'd you pick this picture?" It was a picture of Luke and Sapphire sitting together laughing as she laid down on his chest on the couch. Both their eyes were closed and none of them had an attractive face on.
"Because it's my favorite. It's you being you and me being me"
"I love it and i'm sorry" she said
After her and Luke were talking in his room they came out into the living room and saw everyone waiting quietly on the couch.
"Guys I know that after all this i'm not who I seemed to be but i can promise you that I still am the girl you've known"
Mackenzie got up off the couch.
"Sapphire you'll always be the girl you were. Whether you have money or not whether you have a family or not. To us your a part of our family" she took her best friends hand and held it "and besides I've known you the longest and you've always been the moral compass that holds our small family together and we love you for it"
