As they were in the car listening to All Time Low's Backstage Serenade Sapphire and Luke were singing all the words. This was just one more thing that the two of them had in common. When they arrive at the studio they went inside to the second floor in rehearsal room C. Calum, Michael, and Ashton were already there beginning to get ready to rehearse. Sapphire was still extremely nervous around them and didn't say hi because she didn't know what they'd say to her after the greeting.
"I'm gonna go grab my guitar, you can just take a seat anywhere and watch us" Luke said
"Sure have fun"
Luke leaned in and pecked her lips quickly as she was walking, she slid her back down the wall and put her knees to her chest.
*Michael approaches*
"Hey, look i know we don't really know each other but you might want to be careful when it comes to Luke"
"Why's that?"
"Because he tends to fall to fast for a girl and then gets hurt and we don't need that happening to him"
"Well, i think that Luke can perfectly handle himself and honestly i really like Luke so if anyone's gonna be careful its me"
Michael didn't really know what to say to her because he believed with all his heart that Sapphire and Luke had real feelings for one another. So, he places his hand on his knee and lifts himself up to his feet and walks over to the rest of the band.
*Ashton whispers*
"How was the date?"
"It was amazing actually, better then any date I've ever been on"
"Even better then the mini golf date with Aleisha when you were in 9th grade" Calum asked.
"I honestly forgot about that date, plus we are going mini golfing tonight and i think it might go better then the one with Aleisha"
"Wow!" Michael said
"Well good for you mate" Ashton said
"Yeah we're happy for you" Calum said
"Do you think long distance with work?" Michael asked
"I do!" Luke instantly replied
"I second that"
"I third it"
As they finished their private conversation Sapphire was texting Mackenzie and Kyleigh about where she was. They had asked her to hang out tonight but she told them about her plans with Luke for before he leaves. They completely understood and told her to make sure she texted or called them real soon to hang out.
5SOS had rehearsed a few snippets of songs and then took a brake. Sapphire was snap chatting her friends without revealing where she was.
"So Sapphire what'd you think of the songs"
"They were great honestly" she said "you guys never fail to put on a great show" she smiled "even if its a show for one person" she giggled. She found herself getting strangely comfortable around the guys and began laughing and talking more.
It was almost 7:30pm and they were going to stop rehearsing for now because they had another 2 days before their next show in Virginia.
Luke was putting his guitar away while Sapphire got up from sitting on the wall and waited by the door. He motioned over to Sapphire telling her to come over to him and the rest of the band. She started walking over to them putting on her black leather jacket.
"I don't know if we did this formally and nicely yet but..... This is Ashton, Calum, and Michael and their my best friends" he said showing you his band members again "guys this is Sapphire"
"Hi its nice to meet you guys" she said shaking all their hands and giggling to herself.
"Nice to meet you too Sapphire" Ashton and Calum said.
After they finished cleaning up the studio they said their goodbyes for the night and Luke and Sapphire left to go play mini golf together. However, on the way their Sapphire asked who Aleisha was.
"She's my ex girlfriend from when we lived in Australia"
"Oh, do you still talk to her?"
"No"
"Oh, well if you ever do tell her she has a beautiful name" she said driving the car "if your date with her back then was really special to you we can go somewhere else"
"No its fine its up to you where you want to go"
"Do you wanna go to the movies instead"
"Sure, any good movies out"
"Do you like horror movies?" She asked
"Yes! There my favorite" Luke said mentioning another thing that they have in common
"There's a great horror movie out you wanna go"
"Sure!" Luke said
Sapphire made the u-turn to go to the movie theater. When they were stuck at a never ending red light she took out her phone. She turn the front camera on and told Luke to smile. He turn his head and smiled. She clicked the button and got a cute picture of the both of them. When she wanted another picture to look better he turned his head and as she was smiling he kissed her cheek. She put her phone down and the light finally turned green.
When they arrived at the movie theater Sapphire went in and bought the two tickets. She then came back to the car and asked how Luke was going to get in without being seen by fans.
"How about I just put my hood on and keep my head down a bit"
"Okay, we can try it"
Luke grabbed his black zip up sweatshirt and put the hood on over the quiff of his hair.
As they were walking inside they quickly ran to the theater and took their seats. A young girl came over and gave Luke a hug. Sapphire thought it was adorable that a girl that young noticed Luke in a dark theater.
"Do you want a picture with him" Sapphire whispered in a really low voice.
"Yes please" the girl whispered just as quietly back
Sapphire stood up and took their picture after the girl came back with his mom's iPad.
In the middle on the movie Luke put his arm around Sapphire attempting to be all romantic. That quickly ended when his awkwardness came into play and he accidentally hit her in the back of her head. She held her head and began to laugh
"Thanks a lot" she said sarcastically
"I'm sorry"
"Its fine just keep your hand off my head" she said laughing trying to protect her head.
After about another hour, the movie had finally ended and Sapphire was nearly in Luke's lap because she was hiding her terrified face in his chest. He then told her that the movie was finally over. When she lifted her head up a piece of hair was stuck on her eye lash. He took his hand and whipped the hair back into place. When she tucked her hair behind her ear she leaned in and kissed Luke. They sat their kissing her a while before leaving the theater. Luke then put the hood on and they quickly but carefully left the theater.
