Time just seemed to fly by since Anissa was born, however, the group wasn't wasting any time of it so they would all take turns watching her while the others were at work, at the gym, in the studio, or just sitting at the house doing nothing. Luke and Anissa would sit together for hours playing games together. Sapphire tried focusing on her job but she was getting really nervous because Anissa's 5th birthday was coming up soon.
Luke and Anissa were playing together in the living room when suddenly she tiny hands rubbed her eyes and she let out a tiny yawn.
"Aw Anissa are you tired baby girl?" Luke asked in a baby voice
Anissa just looked into her fathers eyes and laid her head down on his chest. When her eyes finally were shut she put her tiny little thumb in her mouth and went into a deep sleep. Luke then looked at his daughter for a few minutes until he finally fell asleep also.
A few hours later Sapphire finally came downstairs and noticed Luke and Anissa sleeping together on the couch. She didn't want to wake them up so she went into the kitchen and checked her phone.
*incoming call*
"Hey Elliot, what's up?"
"Hey just wanted to call you back letting you know I can watch Anissa this weekend while you guys all go out"
"Aw really that's amazing! Thank you so much! Anissa loves spending time with you"
"That's sweet. I'll probably come over tomorrow afternoon I have a huge test in the morning"
"No problem I'll see you then love you bro"
*end of phone call*
While Luke and Anissa were still asleep Sophia and Sapphire decided it would be a good time for them to finally talk about important supernatural things that needed to be said.
"Sophia you know I love you but half the time you speak to me I don't understand a word your saying"
"I get that a lot. More than you would expect, but what exactly aren't you understanding?"
"Everything because I was visited by the same ghost who told me I was pregnant and now she is telling me that I need to protect my daughter"
"That's all she said.....?"
"Yeah she didn't exactly read me a book about everything that was going on"
"That's it!"
"What's it? I don't get it" Sapphire asked
"The book!"
"The book?"
"Yes the book, it's a book that can basically tell you the future about how to protect others around you"
"That sounds great, where is it?"
"I have no idea, last I ever saw the book mom had it and for all I know she still has it" Sophia said trying to think of the possibilities
"You have got to be kidding me"
"No I'm not, how the hell do you expect us to get this book?"
"You could call her and ask if she still has the book in her possession"
"No way! That is out of the question. I don't want to see that woman ever again. Why can't you call her?"
"Well for one I doubt she knows that I'm even her real child that ran away and ruined her powers"
"Good point. We'll have to do this the old fashioned way then. We're going to find out where she is living and sneak in and find the book"
"Your a horrible role model to your daughter. You know that right"
