The next morning the three girls woke up laying on one another in Sapphire's room with the slide show of pictures still playing on repeat and music still playing. In a hurry Sapphire got up and got her phone off the dresser and unplugged it from the projector to check her contacts because she wanted to see if everything with Luke was real or just a dream. On her almost dead iPhone she clicked the L section of her contacts and found the name Luke Hemmings sitting right there and again her heart sank to the floor knowing all of this was real.

She dropped to her knees and started to freak out to herself. She actually wasn't loosing her sanity and the whole experience last night actually happened.

Mackenzie and Kyleigh ate some french toast for breakfast and then grabbed their things and got ready to leave so Sapphire could get ready for her field hockey practice that day. She had already missed practice once yesterday because she was at the arena all day.

They left her house with unbrushed hair that looked like a birds nest, slippers on their feet instead of regular shoes, and a pile of clothes and other things in their arms as they ran down the stairs they made their way to Kyleigh's car. They said their goodbyes to Sapphire as she stood by the window of the car. They told Sapphire to tell them if Luke decides to text her today or if he was gonna wait and call her. She agreed and they drove off down her long empty block.

*later that day*

Sapphire had just gotten home from practice and she ran into her room to check her phone and she found that there still were no texts or calls from Luke so she thought that while she was waiting she could go in the shower quickly after practice so she could get clean after sweating so much. When she was done she cleaned the foggy mirror and dried off her body. After she went back into her room.

"Sapphire....." a voice from downstairs shouted

"What is it Elliot?" she asked

"I'm running to the grocery store. Do you need anything specific for the week?"

"No thanks" you said quickly checking your phone seeing a missed call

*1 missed call*
And it was from Luke from almost 30 minutes ago.

She got dressed and decided to call him back as she plopped down onto the bed.

*phone ringing*

It was like the phone was ringing for the last 3 years but finally it stopped ringing and she was able to hear......

"Hey Sapphire, i was starting to think you were gonna ignore me"

"I'd never do that Luke" she whispered into her phone because she was still very nervous talking to new people.

"Well that's good news. So about yesterday first i wanted to say sorry about the awkward bus ride and was wondering if you'd still want to go out with me" he said sounding very sorrowful

"It's completely fine the bus ride was very awkward though and also I'd still love to go out with you"

"Thank you, so where would you like to go"

"Um....i know a great Italian place that also serves pizza"

"Yes, that sounds amazing i love pizza"

"Who doesn't" she said still sounding really nervous and didn't know how to respond.

"Okay, so when would you like to go"

"Up to you based on your schedule"

"Okay, so how about tomorrow night"

"Sounds great i'll text you the place i'll meet you there at 7pm"

"Great bye Sapphire"

*hangs up phone*
