Sapphire drove Luke back to his hotel and said that she'd see him tomorrow. When she pulled into her driveway Mackenzie and Kyleigh were waiting there for her.
"Girl, where have you been?" Mackenzie asked
"Me and Luke went to the movies"
"you should have called we were bored all night" Kyleigh said
"Sorry guys, i just don't want him to leave but he has to so we are spending as much time trying to get to know each other"
"Its fine i guess but next time some warning would be nice"
They gave a big group hug and went into Sapphire's house. They watched two movies in her living room on the flat screen and ate a whole bunch of junk food together.
Mackenzie was glad that Sapphire being with Luke wasn't changing who her best friend really was.
That next morning they all got dressed and went out for breakfast together to their favorite placed to get french toast. They could sit their talking for hours and hours. Which they did. Kyleigh and Mackenzie were talking about graduation already. The three of them had no plans for college yet. Mackenzie and Kyleigh wanted to spend a semester abroad and do their classes online. Sapphire had no desire to go back to school once she graduated. Her brother didn't agree with her but knew that it was her own decision to make.
At around 11:30 Luke texted Sapphire asking if they could meet because he would be leaving town that night.
A sudden tear came to her eye as the three of them paid the check and raced to the hotel. They went up to room 637 and knocked on the door. Calum answered and invited them in.
"Hey guys why are you leaving today instead of tomorrow?" Sapphire asked
"Because our managers arranged a meet in greet tonight in Virginia Beach before the show tomorrow" Calum said
"Well that sucks" Mackenzie said rudely
They all looked at Mackenzie and Kyleigh because they don't know who they are.
"Oh sorry guys, these are my best friends Kyleigh and Mackenzie" Sapphire said
"Nice to meet you guys" Calum said
"So this is really our last day together for a while" Luke said walking towards Sapphire "do you remember what you said to me the other night"
"No what'd i say"
"You said you didn't worry about your future and you were only concerned with right now"
"Okay well then we're going to do that"
Calum took Mackenzie and Kyleigh onto the balcony with the rest of the band. Sapphire and Luke stood in the hotel room talking together.
