After everything was removed from the rooms of the house the eight of them began to paint the different rooms. The girls would work in the morning while the guys were in the studio and the guys would help out with things when they got back after.
"Do you guys like this color or this color for my room?" Kyleigh said holding up two paint swatches
"I like the red" Sapphire said
"Yeah the red is the way to go" they all agreed
"Okay well while you guys paint i'm off to the studio to check in with the crew for the guys next live appearance" Sophia said getting her purse and keys
"I'm out too i have practice so i'll be back in a few hours" Sapphire said
"Hey Sapphire wait a second" Mackenzie said "Can I come to practice with you" she asked "I gotta do some laps anyways to get ready for softball"
"Sure why not" she said
Sophia and Kyleigh left to go to the studio because Kyleigh had nothing else to do.

When the girls got to the studio there was so much traffic that it took them over an hour to arrive. By the time they got there Sapphire and Mackenzie were also there because her practice ended early due to the heat.
The guys played them some snippets of new songs and they recorded them on their phone and put them on the snap chat the girls made for their band.
The entire time that they were in the studio Ashton was coughing up a storm. Every five seconds he would be hacking up as if he was dying. The guys suggested that he should go to the doctor to make sure he was okay.
"I'll drive him to the doctor" Kyleigh said
"Yeah Ashton go with her because if your sick we have an issue" Sophia said
The two of them left the studio and Kyleigh drove him to the doctor. Ashton was in the passengers seat all sweaty and still coughing. When they arrive they were waiting in the waiting room for the doctor to call them inside.
"You know i'm fine right. It's probably something that'll go away after a good night's sleep" Ashton said
"Yeah well we can't take any chances with your guys health because we'll all be in the same house and the guys can't perform without you" Kyleigh said to him
Ashton's eyes slightly began to close as his head fell onto Kyleigh's shoulder while they were waiting. After letting him sleep for about 15 minutes the doctor came in to call them into the exam room. Kyleigh woke up Ashton and helped his sweaty body into the room.
"Alright whats your symptoms Mr. Irwin?" The doctor asked him
"He's been coughing and hacking for a while and his sweaty and can barely keep his eyes open" Kyleigh answered for him
The doctor took his temperature and noticed that Ashton had a heavy fever as well as a bad virus that needed antibiotics to help heel.
"I recommend that he stay inside his home for a while and for him to stay in bed as well" he said "Ashton maybe your girlfriend can help take care of you until your feeling better"
Kyleigh made a face and said "I'm not his girlfriend, we're just good friends and i'm the only one that would drive him here"
"Well then you can be the good friend who will take care of him because you have breathed in his virus and produced the proper antibodies for it"
"Oh great so we're both under house arrest now"
"Don't think of this as a punishment think of it as companionship for your sick friend" the doctor joked trying to lighten the mood
She looked as Ashton and gave him a weird look because she didn't want to stay in the house doing nothing but she figured she had no choice. She would now be stuck doing all the painting and rearranging of furniture to make sure it was perfect.
"Alright we got your antibiotics let's go Ash we gotta get you home i guess. No more recording for you for a while" Kyleigh said getting the prescription
They drove back to the house and everyone was already there waiting to see how Ashton was doing. They were all inside sitting on the floor because most of the furniture was gone for replacements.
"Hows he doing?" Calum asked
"He's okay, the doctor said it's probably a common flu and he needs to stay inside in bed for about a week maybe two"
They all looked at Sophia since she was their manager.
"I'll make some calls" she said leaving the room
Luke and Kyleigh helped him get onto the hand-made bed that they made for him since their were none left in the house.
"You really picked the worst time to be sick" Michael joked
*coughing* "I've noticed" *more coughing* "considering i'm lying on a bunch of pillows and half a mattress as a bed"
After Ashton was settled the rest of them went into the next room to see how Sophia was doing on the phone. She was both yelling and calmly speaking to someone.
"Okay i understand the terms" Sophia said "thank you for the rescheduling sir i'll have the boys come for a visit to see what will be happening"
*hangs up her phone*
"What happened?" Calum asked
"Well you three will still have to record your vocals for the time being and I was able to push back some of the interviews but if Ashton isn't better by next Thursday we're screwed"
"That shouldn't be a problem it's only Tuesday so we have over a week" Luke said
"Just baby his flu until he feels better" Mackenzie said

"Guys! We're over looking something important right now" Michael said
"What is it?" Luke asked
"Coming up this week is Sapphire and Luke's 1 year of meeting each other"
"Is it really?" Sapphire said because both her and Luke forgot
"You two are actually the worst and best couple ever" Mackenzie said "how could you forget but both of you still laugh about it together"
"It's just who we are" Luke said
