The Girl Standing Front Row (revised)

Chapter 1

                 Sapphire is the town's sweetheart, A senior in high school. Her father and mother were wealthy real estate agents with money. However, when she was a baby her father passed away and then when she was nine her mother left with no explanation leaving her brother, Elliot, as her soul guardian. All of their parents money was left for Sapphire and Elliot leaving them alone and rich. She was very independent and never took her parents money for granted. She also did very well in school. She did everything; she played sports, did well in school, sang and played instruments. She was an average height, brunette girl with dark brown eyes she was very shy and listened to music different from all others that she knew. She lives in a mansion-like house that her parents renovated when Sapphire was born. 

*Now to where the story really begins*

Sapphire and her two best friends Mackenzie and Kyleigh have now been waiting for over one year and the day has finally come that they will be seeing their favorite band 5 Seconds Of Summer live in concert for their Rock Out With Your Sock Out Tour. She felt like she was on top of the world because for only $35 dollars she and her best friends will be seeing their idols front row because Sapphire has a family friend who works security at the arena! The three of them had a sleepover the night before the concert and they are all too excited to sleep most of the night. They were up all night putting the final touches on the outfits that they are going to where to the concert tomorrow.

They are all wearing shorts because it's still summer out and the concert is in an outdoor arena on the beach. Sapphire decided to wear black lace high waisted shorts and a black crop top with a red and black flannel shirt. Mackenzie is wearing white shorts with a black tank top and a blue and black flannel shirt. Kyleigh is wearing regular black shorts high waisted with a white crop top and a black and white flannel shirt. They're all matching with wearing black low top converse.

Normally, Sapphire would wake up at around noon everyday but today was different and they were all awake at almost 9am. The concert doesn't start until 8pm that night but they all decided they were going to leave the house extremely early. Sapphire did her hair and makeup first and then she did Kyleigh and Mackenzie's hair for them. 

Sapphire looked at the clock and it read 12:03pm. They decided that since they were all ready, they would leave now and go to the arena to hang out. Kyleigh grabbed her keys and they all headed out to the car. The three of them would always go to the beach together and were extremely excited to be going to a concert on the beach. The sun was at about its highest point when they arrived. It was blaring down onto their bare skin as they walked over to the entrance of the arena. You met your family friend Lori and her husband Rick who were both security at the arena.

"Hey Lori" Sapphire said to her as they approached the booth where they checked your tickets.

"Hey girls! Are you excited for tonight's concert?" She asked already knowing the answer. "Why are you guys here so early?" She asked

"We were really excited about tonight and we were all dressed and ready and all that so we just came" Sapphire said explaining why they were there early.

Since they were the only ones there they decided to walk to the broad-walk and get something to eat. They were walking through the parking lot being heated by the blazing sun. 

"The time goes really slow when you really eager" Kyleigh said checking her phone nearly every second

"Maybe if you would put your phone away for three seconds it wouldn't feel so long" Sapphire said laughing at Kyleigh's phone addiction 

"I could seriously go for a burger right now" Mackenzie said changing the topic 

"Race to the burger bar?" Kyleigh asked 

"Are you on crack? It's the hottest day of the summer you think I'm exerting any energy right now" Sapphire said avoiding running hoping her deodorant wouldn't wear off too quickly 

As the three of them were walking there Mackenzie noticed a huge bus coming towards the arena and could only think of one reason why. They figured that 5 Seconds Of Summer had just arrived and they wanted to see if they can sneak over and see them come out. They stood there in front of the doors pretending not to notice. As a door swung open Mackenzie and Kyleigh were pretending to take a selfie and Sapphire was looking at someone coming out of the bus. First came out Calum, second came out Michael, third to come out was Ashton, and last to come out was Luke. Luke stepped down the mini stairs holding his guitar case. As his head came up looking around his eyes stopped when he saw Sapphire standing there. The four of walked past Sapphire, Mackenzie, and Kyleigh. Mackenzie and Kyleigh said hi to all of them but when Luke walked past he said "Hey there" and touched Sapphire's shoulder. Something about the way he said Hey made her feel so special.
