The next few weeks were a bit awkward for everyone because they didn't know where everyone stood with everything. The guys were all still rehearsing new music for some upcoming events overseas, Sophia spent most of her time with the guys answering phone calls, and typing up reports, Kyleigh and Sapphire were focused on sports and their school work for college, and Mackenzie was regaining everyone's trust while still trying to maintain everything else she had going on with her.
At the house sapphire and her brother, Elliot, were there talking about her gift and she was telling him what it was like and how she was doing crossing over spirits into the light.
"Do you find it weird that mom charmed you when you were little denying you this gift?" Sapphire asked
"Honestly, not really, i feel like this type of life isn't for me and i would not be able to help these kids, and adults that would basically depend on me to help them"
"Do your friends know about it, and your.... fiance?" he asked making air quotes
"yes they all know about it and actually my friend Sophia can also see spirits, it's really weird actually because she knew i was able to see them she just didn't know that I didn't know yet"
"well i hope you can cross them over, but promise me that you'll be safe, you never know what these things could do and i don't want you getting hurt"
"thanks, i promise i'll be extra careful around the dead....have you spoken to mom since i told you i was trying to track her down"
"No.....me and her don't really go together very well, we are total opposites that don't need to reconnect paths ever again"
"Are you sure you don't even want to at least see her or talk to her about whatever you've been thinking for the last 10 years"
"no Sapphire i need you to understand that even if i wanted to see her i can bet that she doesn't want to see me either....and i really don't think it's a good idea for you to see her either"
"Why?"
"because you shouldn't be trusting her....she's not a stable women no matter what she told you and no matter what the files would always say"
"okay look i haven't talked to her in a while so if she calls again then i'll just ignore it and keep her out of my life from now on"
For the next few hours they just sat and talked for a while in the living room until someone finally got home. When Kyleigh and Mackenzie got home Elliot grabbed his things and left so he wouldn't be late for curfew. The three girls decided to have an old fashioned movie night together while the guys where doing interviews and acoustic performances for the night.
-------
The very next morning Sapphire and Luke decided to go shopping together so they could finally talk about things for the wedding. Both of them were incredibly scared about the whole thing and didn't know where to start other than they both were ready to just say i do.
"What do you even buy for a wedding" Luke asked
"i have no idea, i know that i need a dress and you need a tuxedo same thing for our friends who will be in the bridal and groom party"
"okay how hard could it be to buy a tuxedo for me, Michael, Calum and Michael. Then you get a wedding dress and Kyleigh, Sophia, and Mackenzie get the same dress" Luke said
"yeah i think that's the only thing we both know about a wedding" Sapphire joked
"it probably is but i think you should be with the girls when you get your dress since they are your best friends"
