Sapphire drove back to school. She signed in at the front desk and went upstairs to her 5th period class in room 327. Since Sapphire was a smart school girl her seat was up front by the door. So she came in and sat down quietly not saying a word to anyone at all. She was only in the class for about 10 minutes and then went to take her Trig test in room 117. She went in the room completely heartbroken but still did her best as always on her test because she knew all the necessary material for the test.
"Finished" she said handing her test to her teacher
"Your sure. Have you checked everything over?"
"Yes" Sapphire said while in the middle of a big sigh as she headed back to her seat
After another half hour of sitting upset in her seat trying not the cry the bell finally rang to let them out to go to their next class. Her teacher called Sapphire over to her desk before she got the chance to leave the classroom.
"Sapphire can i speak to you for a moment" her teacher says as Sapphire packed up her bag getting ready to leave
"Sure"
"Are you doing okay? You seem a little upset today"
"I'm fine. It's just someone i really cared about left yesterday and i'm not taking it well"
"Is it a family member or a relationship with something"
"Relationship. We are going to try long distance but i don't know how it's going to work"
"Well let me ask you this. Do you care for this boy?"
"Yes with all my heart"
"Then no matter where he is in the world or country you have to promise that you'll make your best effort to try and make it work"
"Your right. I promise. Thank you" she said leaving the room holding her books tightly to her chest
After speaking with her teacher Sapphire went outside to go have lunch with Mackenzie and Kyleigh. They decided to go eat in a Chinese restaurant a few blocks from the school. They went in and patiently waited for the women to give them a table to eat at. Sapphire seemed happier then when she left this morning and it might have had something to do with her previous conversation with her teacher that made her feel like her relationship with Luke might actually work even though he will be traveling.
"So how do you think you did on your Trig test" Mackenzie asked
"Other then totally bombing the part D questions pretty good" Sapphire said
"Good because i'm taking the same one last period and i'm so nervous because i'm completely stupid when it comes to math" Kyleigh said making Sapphire laugh.
"I'm so not looking forward to another practice tonight" Sapphire said sounding like her old self. "a whole 2 hours of those annoying girls making fun of me" she said eating her food
"Well you never know maybe they won't today" Mackenzie said attempting to use her chop sticks to eat her food
"If only you could rub in their faces your with a celebrity" Kyleigh said
"That's definitely out of the question but maybe it will be different. Maybe none of them will show up" Sapphire said trying to be more funny then she has been recently
"I wish i could just go home and sleep" Mackenzie said
After they finished eating and split the check evenly they started walking back to class.
"Sapphire you should wear a really good outfit tomorrow considering you've worn this one for almost 3 days now" Kyleigh said as people were starting to give Sapphire looks around the hallway
"Oh don't worry i will. I already have it picked out because i ordered it offline a few days ago and its coming in today"
They reentered the building and walked up the stairs to go to their classes. Mackenzie and Sapphire were both going to the same room so they said goodbye to Kyleigh and went to class.
