Another couple of months have passed and Sapphire still hasn't forgotten about Luke because his fame causes him to be everywhere in her life. His music was all over the radio and radio interviews cause her to hear his voice in the car each and every day.
"I want Luke back"
"You can't think like that. It's over between you two" Mackenzie said
"I don't care. I want Luke back"
Sophia pulled out her phone and dialed Luke's number and put the phone faced down on the table. She did this all in secret and she didn't tell Sapphire that she called Luke. When Luke answered the phone he heard everything they were saying
Sophia continued "Sapphire why do you miss Luke? It's not like you ever told him you loved him"
"I don't care about what I didn't say just know what I feel and I know that I do love Luke" she continued talking "Luke was the best thing to ever happen to me. He showed me the side of confidence that I didn't know I had"
Luke was on the other end of the line quietly listening to everything and he knew he felt the same way. He just never got the chance to say any of it to Sapphire's face.
"Would you tell Luke that you loved him?"
"Like his song for me said "i'd fly a thousand oceans just to get to him""
Sophia put the phone to her face and said "YOU HEAR THAT" and quickly hung up the phone. No one bothered to ask why she did that because Sapphire didn't want to know she just wanted to go back home and cry forever again.
When Sapphire got home she grabbed her field hockey duffel bag and started putting clothes into it from her closet. Not answering her phone, which was going crazy with calls and texts from Sophia, Mackenzie, and Kyleigh. She didn't want them interrupting her packing because she was going to find a way to get to Luke that week. She took a screwdriver and went into the cracks of walls and underneath dressers because that's where she hid so much money. She had hiding places for things all over her house and never wanted anyone to find the things she wanted remained hidden.
A few minutes later Mackenzie and Kyleigh were banging on her bedroom door demanding that she open it for them. Sapphire rarely ever kept her door locked, so when Mackenzie and Kyleigh couldn't let themselves into her bedroom they knew Sapphire was hiding something from them. She was trying to kick the duffel bag into the closet so they wouldn't see it. Once she finally hid it she opened the door.
"What?!" she exclaimed angrily and frustrated
"What?!......you left and you haven't been answering and we don't want you crying again over Luke" Kyleigh said barging into the room slightly looking around
"Look guys i'm done crying I promise" she said looking around her room also making sure her things were still hidden
"Okay good....don't scare us like that ever again"
Once Sophia finally arrived she was able to see what was going on. Her phone kept going off because Luke and Ashton were trying to call her. "I'll be back in a second"
*Phone call with Luke*
"what do you want Luke"
"Me you called me and let me hear that conversation" he said sounding angry "why did you do that?"
"Because I'm not stupid I know your in love with Sapphire and you want her back. I gave you the push you needed"
*phone called ended*
She went back into Sapphire's bedroom. Mackenzie and Kyleigh had already left. She walked around the room looking at things that have been moved. She caught on very quickly that Sapphire was searching her room obviously looking for something or somethings.
"You know i can help you if you want"
"Help with what?" Sapphire said
"Well i know what country Luke is in and I know a flight attendant who can get you on one of the next flights to there"
"What makes you think i wanna go to Luke"
Going to the closet she pointed to the empty hangers "you would never have an empty hanger in your closet, you unscrewed parts of your dresser, and there is money coming from under you pillow" she said "i know you Sapphire"
"Okay so what....i want Luke back and no one's going to stop me"
Sophia took out her phone and dialed a number and then put the phone of speaker.
"Hey Piper, it's Sophia, I need two available seats on the next flight to Sydney Australia" she demanded "you got a close flight available"
"The next flight with available seats is tomorrow night. Is that okay?" Piper said
Sophia made a face and Sapphire closed her eyes and nodded because that was fine with her.
"Your not coming with me" Sapphire said as Sophia agreed and hung up the phone
"Yes i am"
"No your not this is something I have to do"
"Sapphire your to easy going you need me to help you get through"
"No I don't" she said picking up her field hockey bag. "Now I need to finish packing. And don't tell Mackenzie and Kyleigh about this please"
"Okay I won't" she said leaving her room "if you need me call me"
"I won't" she said packing the duffel bag until nothing else could fit inside.
