For the next few weeks Sapphire spent most of her time in bed. She would only leave her bedroom to go to the bathroom or to get some food. Other than that Luke was helping her get what she needed as her pregnancy kept increasing. Sapphire also tried keeping her distance from both Sophia and her brother because she didn't have the dignity or strength to face them.
Ashton has been staying with Sapphire making sure she eats and drinks enough water while Luke is recording in the studio. They would watch TV and just sit around being two lazy people until Kyleigh would get home from soccer practice and give Ashton a break.
"Ice cream is the greatest invention ever" Sapphire said
"I know right same with this show. Dick Wolf is a genius!" Ashton said
"Yes! This show has been my favorite since i was a kid" she said watching TV with Ashton in her room
"You excited to be a mom"
"I actually really am, i just want her to grow up healthy and be proud of who and where she comes from"
"She will, she has the two greatest parents in the world" Ashton said
After Sapphire and Ashton talked, watched Law and Order, and stuffed their faces with ice cream for hours Sapphire fell dead asleep on Ashton's shoulder. Ashton was still awake watching TV waiting for either Luke or Kyleigh to get home and stay with Sapphire for a while.
Luke then came home and knocked on the bedroom door. He walked into the room and he helped Ashton get Sapphire off of him without waking her up so Luke could sit down and be with Sapphire for a while. Ashton went into the kitchen and Kyleigh was just pulling up in the driveway.
"Hey Ash, how's Sapphire doing?"
"Good she's asleep right now. Luke is with her"
"Okay good, now i am starving after practice"
"I'm going to make some food. Do you want anything?"
"Sure" Ashton said answering his cell phone for his sister
*back in Luke and Sapphire's room*
Sapphire began to wake up from her deep sleep. She was half awake and half asleep still and was completely uncomfortable because her pregnancy made her sleep in such an awkward position. She was still half asleep when she let out a gigantic snore right in Luke's ear while they were laying together.
"Sapphire" he whispered
"Hm?" She mumbled
"Never mind, i'm going to so get something to eat you want anything?"
She just shook her head and tried going back to sleep. She attempted to roll over to her other side but was so uncomfortable and she just completely went back to sleep.
After a while Michael, Calum, and Mackenzie finally got home. They were all pretty on edge with the soon arrival of Sapphire's baby. Kyleigh and Ashton caught on to the fact that Sophia and Sapphire were keeping a far distance from each other and were determined to figure out why.
For the next few days Kyleigh and Ashton would be randomly thinking of reasons why they possibly weren't speaking to each other. Most of their ideas were unrealistic and completely ridiculous to even think about. They wrote down every possible idea down on every little scrap of paper they could find whenever they thought of an idea.
"I can't take it anymore" Kyleigh said to Ashton in the car
"Can't take what?" He asked
"The fact that two of my best friends are not speaking to each other and Mackenzie and I don't even know why"
