A few weeks have now past and Sapphire and Luke have been trying to make the long distance work while Luke was around the country. And it has been working even though they were doing different things. Luke was traveling for work and Sapphire was finishing her education and playing sports. They haven't seen each other for nearly 2 months and it has been extremely tough for the both of them to adjust to their new relationship.
Sapphire, Mackenzie, and Kyleigh were eating lunch with the new girl in school named Sophia. Sophia had just moved here from Chicago and was also a fan of 5 Seconds Of Summer so they spent the period talking about their favorite songs and favorite things about their favorite members. Her favorite member was Michael.
After lunch Mackenzie, Kyleigh, and Sapphire went to Sapphire's house because before her practice she was going to have a Face Time with Luke when he lands in Australia. They drove to her house and then went into her bedroom. She had changed the arrangement of things in her room. The bed was now next to her closet and the TV was still on the wall while the dresser was near the door.
*incoming Face Time call*
"Hey Sapphire" Luke said yawning into the camera
"Hey Lukey hows Australia"
"Really good. It's great to be home I can't wait to see you soon"
"That's amazing! I'm so glad you still love where you come from. Anyways when are you coming back i miss you"
"I'm coming back really soon"
"Great! I can't wait to finally see you. I'm tired of watching you on a little screen"
"I know. Well i'm really tired i'll try to call you in the morning"
"Okay. see you tomorrow Luke"
*Face Time call ended*

Sapphire decided to skip practice that day. She texted her coach and told her that she wasn't feeling well. She then texted Sophia and invited her over to hang out. The four of them hung out in Sapphire's room together and were talking about their boy troubles together. To keep the identity of Luke a secret Sapphire described him as closely as she possibly could.
"So Sapphire who's your boyfriend that you've been talking to" Sophia said
"His name is Robert" referring to Luke's middle name "he has dirty long blonde hair and he travels a lot for sports so i don't see him very often"
"Well i believe that long distance relationships are romantic because it shows power and respect for each other" Sophia said
"Sapphire and Rob" she said making air quotes with her fingers "are such a cute couple when they are together" Mackenzie said smiling
"Yeah they have a lot in common plus he's super attractive"
"Can I see a picture of him?" Sophia asked
Sapphire, Mackenzie, and Kyleigh all looked at each other and didn't know how to respond. Sophia looked at all of them with a confused look. She didn't know what the big deal was with seeing a simple picture.
"This might sound terrible but I actually don't have one because I transferred all my pictures"
"It's fine, hopefully soon I can meet him in person" Sophia said smiling
"I hope so too" Sapphire said actually liking Sophia and wanting her to be their new friend
