As soon as they went outside of the cafe Sapphire was able to feel a certain presence around her. She couldn't see the spirit of the person yet however, just the cold feeling helped her know that it was there.
"Focus and talk to the ghost" her mom said being able to feel the presence also
"Okay um, my name is Sapphire and i'm here to help you" Sapphire said
The spirit appeared next to her shoulder and he said "Help yourself and leave" making Sapphire jump instantly
She turned and faced him "you shouldn't be here you need to cross over"
"No I shouldn't she should suffer the way I did" the ghost said
"Who should suffer? Can you tell me your name or their name?"
He pivoted his head and faced the young women sitting down reading a book. All of a sudden the pages of her book began to fly everywhere until the book hit her in the face and then it fell to the floor. Sapphire ran over to the woman sitting on the bench and helped her pick up her things from the floor.
"Tell her that i don't blame her" he took his ring off and it disappeared indicating that he was the women's husband at one point.
"Thank you so much sweetheart" the woman said taking her book back
"Your welcome" Sapphire said sitting down next to her asking if she could speak with the woman for a moment. "I know this is going to sound really weird but I've seen your husband and he wants me to deliver you a message"
"I'm sorry you must have the wrong person because my husband died"
"Yes I know that. I have this gift that I've recently found out about and I've seen your husbands spirit before" she explained "I know it sounds crazy but it's true and he's here with us now" she pleaded for the woman not to leave and that she needed to keep an open mind because it was new for Sapphire also
She looked around until the women started to cry because she was beginning to believe what Sapphire was saying. She began explaining what happened after her husband died.
"After he died I never thought I could move on with my life. He was always the only one I've ever loved in my life"
"He says that he doesn't blame you, do you want to explain what that means" Sapphire asked
"Right before his death I signed divorce papers because they showed up at my door while my husband was away. I thought he didn't love me anymore. After I sent them back to him the next day I got a call saying he was dead" she began balling her eyes out
The man spoke to Sapphire as she also started tearing up "I never sent her divorce papers, and I knew that I wasn't going to be able to make it home alive"
She told the women what he said and she then said "I love you" and continued crying and crying until the man was gone into the light to go to Heaven.
Sapphire was able to see him disappear and for the first time she felt a real connection to something bigger than anything she'd ever experienced before.

Sapphire and her mother were walking around for a while just talking more. Sapphire was very angry with her mother however she couldn't help but notice how kind and beautiful her mother was. She felt that she reminded Sapphire of herself.
"Will I see them everywhere?"
"Yes, but the ones that need help are the ones that bring themselves to you"
"How will I know the difference between the ones in need of help and those who don't"
"You'll know sweetie. I believe in you"
Suddenly, a car showed up next to them and Luke rushed out of the car. He ran over to Sapphire and gave her a giant hug.
"Oh Thank God your okay, where the hell have you been? We were so worried when we noticed you weren't home"
"Sorry, I love you, and i'm fine I promise nothing is wrong"
Luke looked at her mom "who's this?"
"Luke this is my mom" she said "I haven't seen her in a very long time"
"Hi Luke it's so nice to meet you, I haven't heard much but you seem very lovely"
"Likewise"
"Nice accent young man"
"Look Luke I promise i'm fine i'll see you at home later me and my mother are just catching up for a while"
"Okay be careful call me if you need anything" he kissed her goodbye
Sapphire's mother was just standing there in silence for a while. They were just walking block after block without saying a word to each other.
"Are you still friends with Mackenzie and Kyleigh?"
"Yes their my best friends" Sapphire said "we have another best friend in our group now too her name is Sophia"
Her mothers face lit up like a Christmas tree with a huge smile. Sapphire didn't suspect anything of it at first. However, it seems like her mother knew who Sophia was just by saying her name. Sapphire was nervous to ask why she smiled at the name so she just kept her mouth shut still.
"How long have you known Sophia?"
"A few months, but we became close with her very fast, she's our family"
"That's great!"
Sapphire's mother walked her home because she hasn't had her car with her all day long. Once they got to the house Sapphire invited her mom inside however, she wasn't able to stay. She then asked if she needed a ride home and again she declined and said she enjoyed walking. So Sapphire then went inside to see everyone in the living room with most of the furniture inside making the house look almost complete!
"Hey guys, sorry to worry you today, I just had to do this for myself"
"It's fine we were just really worried when you were gone when we all woke up" Luke said
"Where's your mom?" Sophia asked
"She had to go. I asked her to stay but she couldn't"
"Did she remember me and Kyleigh?" Mackenzie asked
"Yeah she asked if we were still friends and I said of course their my family" she hugged Mackenzie and Kyleigh
"What else happened today?" Sophia asked
"Nothing really we just talked, anyways i'm shot i'm gonna go to bed i'll see you guys in the morning"
"Wait before you go!" Sophia said "in 2 weeks the guys will be leaving to play some shows in Japan with One Direction for their On The Road Again Tour, I was in touch with their manager and he said it's only 4 shows and then you'll be back here to finish your 2nd album, and we'll be here when you guys get back"
Sapphire smiled and left the room. Luke got up in the hopes of following her into their room. She sat down and Luke came up behind her to hug her from behind. He didn't say anything because he knew something was going on however he didn't want to upset Sapphire by making him tell her.
"It was so awkward seeing her after all these years" Sapphire said
"Then why'd you go?" He said looking at the files "what are these?"
"There files I found in the Archives about my family, there from when my mom was in the nut house" she cried while talking
"Why would want to know all this? I can see it's making you upset. Your mother left you when you were young why would you want her back now randomly"
"Because of what I found out.....I found out something that I can't do on my own and I need her help in order to understand it"
"What is it?" He said "Sapphire tell me I want to be able to help you" he pleaded
"I can see ghosts....and I think Sophia can see them also"
