As the girls approached the stage curtain Sapphire was feeling butterflies in her stomach because she was going to finally be face to face with her idol.
"Hey there!" Luke said to the girls with a happy smile on his face.
The three girls say "hey!" simultaneously with extreme enthusiasm.
Luke can't do anything but smile into Sapphire's beautiful brown eyes. He said absolutely no words and just stared deep into her eyes. Sapphire didn't know what he was staring at, however she didn't mind that he was staring at her because she was also staring at him.
Breaking the silence Kyleigh says "Me and Mackenzie are going to go grab some food, we will meet you at our seats soon" she said that as her and Mackenzie started to back away from the stage leaving Luke and Sapphire alone still starring at one another.
*a few minutes pass by*
Finally breaking the silence "You know what i think, i think your a teenage rock star with a kind heart staring into my brown eyes" Sapphire says with a large dose of sass.
"I think your correct. But how could you blame a rock star for starring into the beautiful eyes of a beautiful girl such as yourself" he says making you blush, making you lose that sense domination Sapphire thought he had over Luke.
"I'm Luke"
"I know who you are. I'm Sapphire"
"Like the Jewel?"
"Yes, just like the Jewel"
"I can tell, your eyes sparkle like the gem your named after"
Sapphire then lost all power completely blushing in front of Luke. She couldn't understand why he would even take notice or even an interest in an ordinary girl like her. She continued to smile at him because now she was speechless.
"I know exactly what your thinking" he said in a confident but hushed tone.
"Oh really! And what exactly would that be?" She asked thinking he could never guess the right answer.
"Your thinking. Why would someone who is always traveling who has thousands of fans talking to some random girl at one of his concerts" he said hitting your thoughts so correctly that it made you nervous for a split second.
Sapphire's expression changed so fast because Luke was able to get correct exactly what she was thinking. She didn't know how to react. She went with another sassy remark.
"Okay, so your a famous rock star who can also read minds. Whats your deal man?" She said intending to sound sassy but not rude.
"Well my deal is that the moment i saw you i felt something in the pit of my stomach"
"Really?"
"Yes i did. And honestly it was something i had never felt before when i saw a girl".
"What about Aleisha?" Sapphire asked knowing all about Luke already from Magazines and interviews with the band
"Aleisha was an amazing girl, but your different"
Sapphire kept her mouth shut because for the very first time in her life she was speechless. She couldn't think of a comeback or even a response to what Luke had just said.
"I know this probably a lot to take in right now in a little corner next to a stage, but i'm the kind of person who when he feels something i need to talk about them" he says hoping to get a response out of you.
"Well i don't know what to say"
"Don't say anything"
"Then what do you want from me exactly"
"I don't really know but I have to go warm up for the second set, buy if your around after the show i'll wait here for a little if you want to talk more" he said hoping that you'd say yes to staying.
"I'll do my best have a good show Luke Hemmings"
*turns around, walking away*
"Hey! Call me Luke just Luke"
She shows a sudden smirk and continues to walk away from the stage to her seat.
"Sapphire what happened back there tell us everything right now!" Mackenzie says with a huge smile on her face.
"I don't know what happened" Sapphire said with a confused face.
"Oh come on you were over there for almost 20 minutes something happened" Kyleigh said
"We just talked and we had a lot of in common, like our sassiness and or sarcasm, but nothing truly happened" Sapphire said trying to explain what she just encountered. "He asked me to stay after the show to talk more because he had to get ready for their second set" Sapphire said trying not to smile so much about the idea.
"Are you gonna stay?" Mackenzie asked
"You should stay" Kyleigh said
"Why should I?" Sapphire said "I don't even know Luke"
"Because we know you and we want you to be happy" Mackenzie said
"You know she's right" Kyleigh said putting her arm around Sapphire
"So your saying if i stay you think i'll be happy afterwards"
"YES!" They both said simultaneously
"Okay, i'll stay but you guys have to stay with me also"
"Okay, we'll stay, but we're staying far behind so you can be alone with The Luke Hemmings!" Mackenzie said
The three of them entered a small group hug and were just smiling with one another. It was a special yet crazy experience and they planned on reacting to the rest of it together.
"It's just Luke, his name is just Luke" she said smiling remembering that's what he said just before you left the stage steps
