Niya let out a scream.

She looked up and didn't see anyone coming to help her. Panic filled her body as she tried to heal herself, trying to disregard the sounds of Kusuke and Seventeen fighting.

But she was shaking so terribly and she felt so lightheaded, she could barely concentrate. She weakly made her way over to the hole in the wall. The battle remained fierce.

"He...Help!" she tried her best to call out before everything went black.

~~~
"...Is she going to be alright...?!"
Niya groaned as voices pulled her back to consciousness. But she felt warm, and as her eyes fluttered open, the world seemed hazy. It was hard to keep them open, and her body felt heavy.
Then she remembered. She hurried to sit up, but a cry escaped her throat as she barely succeeded.
"My...baby?!" Niya questioned, shutting her eyes at the pain.
"Niya!"
She barely managed to open them.
"I'm here," Seventeen took a hand in both of his. His blue eyes were bright with worry.
"You're both alright," Ken-La's gentle voice soothed her from the other side of the bed. "Don't move too much, and don't worry," she caressed her niece's face. Her emerald eyes twinkled with worrisome tears. "Rest."
Niya's breathing was strained, but she nodded and closed her eyes. Her free hand went to settle over her stomach, relieved her baby was going to be okay.
She soon slipped into unconsciousness again.
~~~

Her eyes blinked open at the sound of a thump.

"I didn't mean to wake you."

Niya turned to the right. "Seventeen?"

He had set down a glass of water with a straw on the nightstand beside the bed. "You sound surprised," he sat down on the edge of the bed.

She furrowed her brows at him. "What happened between you and Kusuke? Did you...Did you ki—?"

"No," Seventeen replied quickly. "Your Aunt told us to stop after she saw what happened to you. I had to make sure you and our baby would be alright."

Niya stared hard. "But if nothing had happened to me, would you have killed him? Would you killed my brother?"

Seventeen sighed and shook his head. "Of course not. Is that all you think I am? A killer?"

"It's what you've always been," she scowled.

He looked down. "How can I make you happy, Niya? I've been here by your side despite everything, unlike everyone else."

Her eyes widened. "What do you mean?"

Seventeen glanced back over to her. "Your brother and his family left. I guess he wasn't bothered knowing whether you were alright or not."

Niya's eyes watered. "He hates me..."

"Maybe," he replied. "But I promise I'll never hate you," he reached for her hand. "I love you."

The saiyaness cried into her free hand, filled with misery.

"Don't cry," the Android soothed as he gently brushed her hair back with his fingers. "I won't leave you. I love you and our kid."
