Niko groaned as he heard his baby sister crying again. It had been a month since she was born, and he was frankly annoyed with her. All she did was sleep, cry, and poop. He rubbed his head as he tried to focus on his homework.

"Mom! Have you seen her pacifier?"

"On the couch, honey!"

"Thanks!"

Trunks hurried over to the couch beside Niko and grabbed the blanket and pacifier. Touka continued bawling in his arms until he placed the pacifier in her mouth. She quieted down, sucking on it contently. Her tail swung calmly from side to side.

He let out a relieved breath but smiled, rocking her gently in his arms.

Niko also let out a breath and returned to staring at his homework.

"Having trouble?"

He turned to his step-father, who sat down beside him on the floor. Reluctant, he nodded, "Y-Yeah."

"I can help you," Trunks offered with a smile.

Niko eyed his sister, who was resting comfortably in her father's arms, holding a small monkey plushie.

"Oh, don't worry. She won't be crying anytime soon," Trunks assured. "Unless she needs a diaper change... Again, not soon. Hopefully."

Niko gave him a look, making him smile sheepishly.

"Let's just get started," Trunks said.

The boy let out a breath and decided to give his step-father a chance.

Niya returned exhausted from a meeting.

After her marriage on Planet Ayata, she had been asked whether she and her family would be living on the native Saiyan world. She had declined the offer, since Earth was her home, and she wanted it to be protected.

To compromise, Miyako offered to base some saiyans on Earth to help guard it with Niya and Trunks. Although they found it to be too overwhelming for the humans, they accepted.

Soon, a batch of saiyans returned to Earth with them, and they quickly began to make changes. Although foreign and shocking, the saiyans had made changes for the better, helping with construction, energy, and food.

Nonetheless, the relationship was a bit iffy. It was too easy for a saiyan to bully a human, so that day's meeting of saiyans and human leaders gathered to discuss issues of what laws should be placed for saiyans. Niya had to go because she was a Saiyan Princess and formally named the Representative of Earth.

She sighed at the changes, wondering how Noemi was doing on Planet Ayata. It shocked her that her niece wanted to stay on their native world, but if that was what she wanted, she couldn't deny her her heritage.

Noemi was a Princess, heir to the Ayatan Saiyan Throne. She would be Queen one day, when she came of age. She had openly and boldly accepted it. It was always her dream to be a Princess anyway.

Niya thought about their playful roleplay years ago. Noemi was always the Princess. She smiled, realizing Noemi's dreams were coming true. And besides, she was with family. Sure, King Montra wasn't too thrilled about a half-ling ascending to the throne, but he couldn't deny her her birthright. And she was strong.

Super Saiyan was no easy feat, but Noemi was capable. Everyone was elated to have such a strong heir.

She would be fine, Niya kept assuring herself. Now, to her other babies.
