Shiva stood before, waiting. "If you agree, I will halt this attack on your people immediately. But if you refuse...well, we will have to fight to the death!"

Niya thought of Trunks. "I...am already married."

Shiva waved his hands. "That is fine. We are not bound by your monogamous culture. I will be fine with a polygamous relationship. As long as I am wed to such a marvelous creature like yourself...," its camera zoomed in on her.

Niya felt a shiver run down her spine. But, if marrying him would solve their problems...

"Fine," she decided. "I accept."

"Fantastic!" Shiva exclaimed. "You will not regret this! I will treat you like the beauty you are!"

Niya bit her lip. "Th-Thank you."

After Shiva was done celebrating, it composed itself and then grew still. Its eye grew bright red, and suddenly the fighting around them stopped.

The Saiyans around were confused as the Mektanians gathered being their "great" leader Shiva.

"Celebrate, Saiyans. This magnificent woman has agreed to marry me!" Shiva announced to all.

The Saiyans were taken aback, murmuring and asking questions, wondering who the woman was.

"Wait!"

Miyako hurried over and landed in front of her granddaughter with a frown. "Niyata is already married and with children."

Shiva turned to her. "Niyata," he repeated. "As I already explained to Niyata, I am perfectly content with a polygamous relationship. And besides, Niyata has agreed to marry me."

Miyako—stunned—turned to her granddaughter. "Please. You can't—"

"I have agreed," Niya hurried to interrupt before she changed her mind. "This is something I can do to help. I am a Princess after all. I have to... do something."

"The Princess?" the Saiyans questioned around them.

"Of course. Only a Princess could be as magnificent as you," Shiva bowed deeply, gesturing dramatically at her.

Miyako frowned at her, but Niya stared sternly.

"When will we be married?" Niya then asked.

"As soon as possible," Shiva stood tall. "I know that your kind age rather quickly in comparison to ourselves. You're a flower, only blooming momentarily before you wilt."

Niya raised a brow, a bit offended yet complimented. She then bit her lip to focus. "Can you at least wait for my family to come here? I'd like my husband to...be aware of what's going on. He's off world."

"Hm. I suppose that is a reasonable request," Shiva rubbed his chin. "Very well. I shall grant you your wish to spare you the wrinkles."

Niya sucked in air, annoyed. She let the air go and composed herself. "Thank you."

"How long will it take for them to arrive?" Shiva asked.

"About five days," Miyako then answered. "I will be going for them myself."

"Ah! Much obliged, Lady Commander," Shiva bowed dramatically for her as well.

"Any further discussions will be done with my son, King Montra," Miyako said, eyeing Niya with a frown.

Niya felt cold, having a feeling he wouldn't be very pleased.

"Of course. Where is he?" Shiva crossed his arms behind him.
