She could feel her whole world crumbling into pieces.
"W-What do you mean... t-they've d-dissapeared...?"
Airi gulped the lump of fear in her throat, her hands trembling so badly as she held Aizawa's phone close to her ear. Her teacher eyed the girl anxiously, while Shoto took a step closer to the girl when he noticed how her irises dilated slightly in shock.
"Airi? What's wrong?"
"I don't know. I t-think they were-"
"What do you mean you don't know?", Airi tried her ultimate hardest to control the fury enraging in her voice, her fists clenching hard. "They can't just dissapear like magic."
"I'd usually wake them up at 7am. But when I came to their room this morning they're already gone. The beds haven't been made, clothes scattered around-"
"This is fucking stupid.", Airi hissed to herself, "I'm coming. In the meantime, try looking around the house? The backyard? Anywhere, just anywhere-"
"I will-"
Airi didn't wait for her reply and immediately tapped the red button on the screen, cutting off their line. She shakily handed back the phone to her teacher, to which Aizawa shot her a concerned look when he saw how her shoulders were trembling heavily, panic evident in her eyes.
"Sensei...", she turned to him. "Can you please bring me to my house? My siblings have disappeared."
In the car, Airi constantly had her head in between her hands while she fumbled with her fingers nervously. Although Shoto was there beside her, patting her back gently in attempt to soothe the girl, Airi showed no signs of calmness. She switched from biting her nails anxiously to fluttering her eyes close, releasing a shaky breath from her lips.
I paid too much attention to Shoto. They took this as an advantage and took Reo and Hina instead. Bullshit. You're an idiot, Airi!
