It's always been you.

She didn't hesitate to race out of her room after a few hours of waiting.

Midoriya had advised her to give him some space, at least a few hours, and Airi took that literally. She waited two hours, and only God knew how impatient she was since she couldn't stop pacing back and forth in her room with bandages in her hands. Although she could feel her head pounding in pain since she might have overused her quirk after her training with Bakugou that evening, but somehow, maybe her concern had overcome the pain.

Airi reached his door, and just like she had expected, she hesitated. Her knuckles hovered above the wooden door and her feet were non stop tapping the floor nervously. Gulping down the lump of anxiousness down her throat, she collected her composure and decided to finally knock.

But the door opened right when she wanted to do so. The owner of the room had his gaze darkened as soon as they met Airi's, and she could actually feel her spine shuddering in fear. Blinking profusely, she stuttered out,

"S-Shoto! I... I was... I wanted to check up on you."

"You don't need to.", he cuts her off. "I'm completely fine."

Her gaze gradually dropped to trail down his body. She eyed the burnt scars decorating his left arm in evident concern, and when he noticed her stare, Shoto quickly pulled his hand back in attempt to hide it away from her. Which was completely useless since she saw everything already.

"Move. I need to get water."

"No, you don't need to! I brought them already."

Shoto clenched his jaw, realising his attempt to avoid the girl had failed. But he was still stubborn, "What for? I could get one for myself-"

"Shoto, please!", Airi stopped him, biting her lips impatiently. "I know you're still mad at me. And even though I can't seem to understand why, just.. please let me treat your scars. Please."

He eyed the sympathy flickering in her amber orbs. Releasing a deep sigh, he stepped back and allowed the girl to enter his room. She gave him a thankful look before quickly walking to his desk to place all the items needed for his treatment, and Shoto could only look away when he realised how stubborn his girlfriend was.
