Munching on her chocolate bun, her eyes never left the boy.

Airi propped her arms on the steel dividers, now standing on one of the abandoned houses' balcony. She savored the sweet taste of the chocolate filling which were filled in the mildly flavored bun, extremely grateful for how Sato managed to bake her delicious sweet pastries without fail every single day. She mentally reminded herself to tell him this chocolate bun was her favorite amongst the others, and to ask him the recipe personally.

She watched how Midoriya had just saved another citizen from getting robbed by a group of vigilantes, the woman taking form of a heteromorph. She was already in the area of incident before Midoriya was, and she had heard all of the discrimination comments thrown to the said woman just because of her abnormal figure. Sometimes, it amazed Airi how most of the days, these vicious comments and acts of discrimination had been widely ignored by the Pro Heroes since they were always busy taking care of other important matters.

Now that the gangsters of the city had the chance to commit such acts openly in a non order environment, Airi could witness such vile scenes face to face. Observing how the woman immediately gave up and lets the gangsters shove her around helplessly, Airi knew so well that wasn't her first time facing such prejudice from the society. And it pained her so much to only realize that only when the country is in the brink of breaking apart.

Just as she finished her chocolate bun, Midoriya had also completed his duties of saving yet another citizen, watching in amusement how the woman bowed at the boy several times as he waved in hands in denial, panicking. She lets the boy disappear from her field of vision, letting at least one minute pass by, before she took out her GPS device and tracked the boy, her eyes focusing on the red dot.

Stretching her limbs as she jumped out of the balcony, Airi throws her arms back and activated the strong, condensed violet flames from both of her palms, letting her arms maneuver her body to where the boy was headed next. When she thinks about it, Airi was thankful she was given the chance to watch over Midoriya. She noticed how her speed has drastically improved, and her ways of thinking on how to boost her speed, changing the angles of her hands to maneuver around the directions Midoriya always abruptly changed last second. She thought of this as a training, or some kind of video game, chasing the red dot in an allocated amount of time before an imaginary villain catches her.

Even though it had just been the third day of watching over her friend, her quirk abilities and what she previously thought speed, was no longer her weakness.
