Airi glared at the girl beside her, who had her lips in a cheeky grin.
"I can't believe I'm doing this.", Airi huffed out in anger.
Mina nudged her shoulder. "What are you talking about? You look adorable with that hairdo!"
"No it makes me look like a five year old."
"No, it doesn't!"
Mina grabbed her wrist and pulled her to the seats in the subway, where most of her classmates were waiting. With a grin on her face, she gestured towards Airi who was apparently rolling her eyes at her friend.
"Guys, don't you think Airi looks pretty in this hairdo?"
Everyone averted their gaze to look at the amber coloured eyed girl, their eyes either sparkling in admiration or mouths opened in awe. Mina recently had bought a huge pink ribbon scrunchie which she thought suited Airi since, well, Airi suits in every single thing she wears. Be it an elegant gown or a teddy bear onesie, Airi could look amazing in anything. With her hair tied up in a high ponytail, the pink bow scrunchie poking out of her ponytail and a small braid on the crown of her head, (which Mina had specially done for her), Airi looked like the typical popular girl in an American highschool.
"You look amazing, Mari!", Uraraka praised first, and ran towards her. "Where'd you buy that scrunchie?"
"Uh.. Mina bought it for me-"
"If it weren't for your height I'd assume you were a preschool kid.", Sero shrugged.
"Is that supposed to be a compliment?"
Airi narrowed her eyes at the black haired boy, to which he raised his hands in surrender.
"But it looks amazing on you!", he quickly added.
"Airi!", Denki walked towards her next, and placed his hand on her shoulder. She eyed him weirdly, "What?"
"Are you made of copper and tellurium? Cause you're CuTe."
