The tension in the cold air seemed to thicken the longer they stared into each other's eyes.
The pair was now at the back of the resort building, where Bakugou had decided to have their private talk at. Shoto was unfazed with the angry look Bakugou was giving him, as he simply crossed his arms while leaning on the wall of the building. Bakugou didn't speak of anything. He didn't want to. Not yet. The other shoved both his hands into the pockets of his sweatpants, clenching his jaw in annoyance when Shoto continued to plaster his typical emotionless face.
"Do you have anything to say?", Shoto broke the silence, being the first to speak up before the other.
"I think you know why you're here."
He sighed, looking away. "I'd love to know, Bakugou. But right now, my mind's completely blank of ideas. Considering how you're always mad because of unnecessary reasons."
"Tch.", he gritted his teeth in anger.
Shoto was definitely challenging his temper now.
"What's your relationship with Airi?"
Shoto fought the urge to smirk at the sound of his question. He knew it was coming. Averting his gaze bravely to the blonde haired one, he answered,
"Nothing. We're just friends.", he cocked an eyebrow. "Why do you ask?"
"Just friends, my ass-", he scoffed while taking a step closer to the lad. "I see the way you look at her. And it's more than just mere friends."
Shoto didn't reply immediately to his sentence. Instead, he unfolded his arms and shoved them into his pockets, matching Bakugou's stance and stood tall before the boy.
"So, What about it?"
Bakugou's red crimson eyes were filled with infuriation when Shoto kept provoking him again and again. Doesn't he realise who was he up against?
However, he knew there was no use in holding back from asking anymore. At some point, he had to release the questions that kept whirring in his mind at their growing relationship.
