𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚙𝚝𝚎𝚛 𝟺𝟼; 𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝙲𝚞𝚛𝚜𝚎𝚍 𝙲𝚑𝚒𝚕𝚍.The warm breeze outside brushed against her skin ever so gently.
It was calming. Having to listen to the soft whispers of the wind flowing through the air gracefully, while her other ear had her earphones plugged on, listening to a soft piano melody. She didn't exactly knew what piece it was from, but Airi found it to be soothing.
Airi was sitting on one of the benches outside of the training hall, the clock showing 1:30pm. She was still waiting for the other boy, and even though it did quirk her to how late he was since he was usually the early one, she didn't bother to go in the hall and train herself. Last night's training had already exhausted her, but she couldn't possibly deny his offer. Especially since he was the one offering this time around.
Maybe she was too tired to even realise how her eyelids were slowly fluttering close, the melodious music being the only sound she was listening to as she dozed off unconsciously.
"Airi!"
Her head shot up in shock at the sudden call of her name, her heartbeat skipping a beat. Snapping her eyes open, she searched for the source of voice, only to notice the familiar boy with red and white locks slow jogging towards her. With a gentle smile on her face, she waved at the latter while also calling out, "Hey, Shoto!"
He finally reached her, grabbing her palms being his first action. "I'm so sorry I'm late. Did you wait for long?"
"No, I was-"
"She did."
The deep, gruff of voice sounded eerily familiar to both of their ears. Airi turned her head to the left, and just like she had guessed, the boy with spikey blonde locks was looking back at the pair in a grumpy expression.
"K-Katsuki?"
He shoved both of his hands into his sweatpants, walking towards the pair in a slow yet steady pace. "She almost fell asleep on the bench because she was waiting for you. Tell you what, Shoto. Next time, you should come an hour late. Who knows, she might be sleeping already."
Shoto's face flared up in fury at how taunting Bakugou's face was when he challenged the latter in pure sarcasm, the only joke able to be comprehended by the latter's dense personality. Since he still felt guilty and Airi was still present with him, Shoto refused to reply him with a harsh comment. Instead, he nonchalantly changed the topic,
