The soft instrumental music seemed to flow gracefully into her ears, the calm ambience surrounding her.Evident sounds of clinking and clanking of the glasses and cups against each other filled in the cafe, accompanied by the soft chattering of the customers in it. The soft instrumental music she was listening flowed into her ears through her earphones, the source coming from her phone. She stopped reading her Biology notes, and turned her head to gaze at the scenery outside, the soft pitter and patters of the raindrops against the glass window. She seemed to find comfort in it, thus why she had lower the volume of her music so that it blended in together, just like a comforting orchestra.
Airi wasn't the type to study in a group. No, she wasn't selfish, nor she was an introvert, but she thought it was better to be alone so that she could focus more in her studying. Maybe it was because she had been homeschooled for her whole primary life which probably explains her already used to life in studying by herself. Occasionally, the barista behind the counter would lift his head to look at her, before returning his attention back to his job. He was not to blamed though, Airi was undeniably a beauty. She always denies it, but even the simplicity of her outfit which consisted of a purple cropped sweater and a pair of black skinny jeans, topped with a high ponytail hairdo using Mina's scrunchie she had bought for her recently, Airi had effortlessly outshone all of the females in the cafe.
She sighed, and returned her attention to her Biology notes and continued her studying. She wasn't the best in Biology, nor she was in History or Literature. Piecing up those information, it can be concluded that Airi wasn't the best in memorising. She wasn't the type to immediately remember a topic she had just learnt after reading it once, or twice, or even thrice. She had to repeatedly read the topic all over again just so it would finally implant itself in her head. So extra hardwork was needed for the girl to score in those subjects.
And even so, she succeeded in getting one of the top places in her class, specifically the fifth place. She couldn't possibly beat Momo and Iida, they're the total braniacs in her class. Similarly for Midoriya and Bakugou since they're hardworking and smart aswell. Maybe it was pure luck when she scored higher than Shoto since she honestly thought he was better in his grades than her. But then again, Shoto had his weaknesses, specifically saying in Calculus and Mathematics.
