Seeing herself in her own hero costume seemed to fascinate her.

It had been so long since she wore the whole outfit, since all she wore to hero patrolling was just a simple pull up hoodie and a pair of shorts. Airi fastened her wrist guards on both of her wrists, making them tighter than usual since she knew she was about to go into real combat today. It felt eerily peculiar. It wasn't like she was going to battle with a villain, but the thought of the boy she and her friends were about to save this evening, it somehow sent shivers running down her spine.

Midoriya was incredibly strong for his sake.

Now that he had manifested five quirks in his body, Airi knew it wasn't going to be an easy fight. She was so sure he wasn't going to easily give in, so either way, they were all going to use their quirks to force him to come back to UA. She exited her room, not forgetting the GPS device and the pair of wireless earphones, and walked to the elevator to go down and meet her other classmates.

When she did arrive at the common room, her vision was greeted with all of her friends in their hero costumes, as if they were about to go for their evening training. A pang of pain was felt in her heart when the familiar boy with dark green locks wasn't in the class' huddle, it felt so incomplete without him. She gave her friends a curt nod, signalling for their departure.

Shoto decided to walk beside her, stealing glances once in a while to make sure she was fine. He knew so well these past few days had been extremely rough on her, and it saddened him to realize he had only accompanied the girl to the gates for her final day of so-called hero patrolling. Shoto nudged the girl softly with his elbow, asking in a tone audible for the both of them,

"Airi, you okay?"

She took a few seconds to answer, finally connecting her amber eyes with his different ones, a small reassuring smile, "Yeah. I've never felt excited to go out of the gates, but with you by my side, I feel safer than usual."

His gaze softened at her sentence, placing an arm around her shoulder to pull their bodies closer for a short while, earning a soft yelp from the girl.

"I'll make sure we get Midoriya back."

"I hope so too.", her tone was soft, yet certain.

"Oi, loser. What's the plan?", Bakugou's question was heard from behind. Airi turned her body fully towards her friends, walking backwards as she explained,

"Whatever it is, our aim is to only find Deku-kun and bring him back. So, we need to minimize any other encounters with the villains. To do this, we need to avoid the ground. Keep your positions on the roofs of any other buildings, and avoid places with high quantities of dust. I don't want this to block our signal transmissions."
