It's been a whole week already.
Airi punched the dummy again, her fists already red from practising after three hours straight. The thought of how seven days had already passed since she last saw Bakugou was eating her up. She felt empty, honestly. But what could she possibly do? She just couldn't pinpoint the fact how she was still stuck with homeschooling while her one and only friend was already working his ass off in UA Academy to become a Pro Hero.
This is frustrating.
She lets out a loud yell as she once again punched the dummy with all her strength, letting it drop down permanently as she held its leather like material neck with her fists.
"I want to go to UA too!!!", Airi confessed loudly at the dummy's face, as if it was living and it could hear her voice.
She stared at its black buttoned eyes, the dummy looking at her back as if it had its solutions to her frustrating problem. Airi stopped glaring at the stupid dummy, realising she was going nowhere at this point. She lets go of the poor dummy, the leather already torn out at its sides and the black buttons were barely holding its place after her strong blow just now. She exhales a sharp breath, closing her eyes to calm down. She sat on one of the benches at her own fitness room at home, which was located in the basement. Taking a gulp of the cold mineral water, she trailed her gaze to the small maroon coloured dragon which was standing right beside her legs, its violet coloured eyes looking at her back with sympathy.
"Don't look at me like that, Ella.", Airi sighed as she looked away. "I know you're pitying me just as much as I pity myself."
"Why won't you tell your mom what you really want? Maybe she'll listen?"
The small dragon voiced out its thoughts in a completely different language, its high pitched voice which wasn't too high nor too low for Airi. It was perfect, not soothing, though. Airi took a few seconds to consider her suggestion, her fingers stroking its soft leather like skin gently.
"Would she listen? You know she never does."
"Try harder. I have a feeling she might listen this time."
