His yellow glowing orbs stared into hers in a mockery.
Instead of being intimidated by the large villain group presenting themselves right in front of her eyes, she knew she had no choice but to fight back herself. It was fortunate Ella was already in good terms with her, since she knew it herself how she couldn't possibly defeat all of them alone. There were too many of them.
"You have two choices, Himari-san.", Shigaraki crossed his arms. "Join us, or we'll take the whole academy down with you."
At the sound of his second choice, Airi could feel the shivers running down her spine in fear. There was no way she was going to let them destroy the whole school just because of her. The decision was hers to make.
"I'm not going to be one of your test subjects again.", she spatted out the truth. "I've grown stronger. I know how to control myself this time."
"I can see that.", the pale man pointed out, nudging his chin to her shoulder. "The quirk fluids seem to be dissolving into your vessel quite well."
Airi quirked an eyebrow in confusion, before she tilted her head to follow his impressed gaze. She gasped loudly when she noticed how the stabbing wound made by Toga had disappeared completely. It was then she remembered, the villains had implanted a healing quirk in one of their experiments.
It's still active in my blood? But it's been months! This is impossible.
"Nothing's impossible, Airi.", Dabi replied, with the girl cursing herself internally when she realised she thought that outloud. "Your strong vessel makes everything possible."
"Cut the crap.", she snapped. Without waiting a single second, Airi pulled her right palm backwards to collect the energy from her entities, "You're underestimating my ability."
She lets out a loud growl and threw the large orb of flames towards their group synchronously, exploding the grounds which successfully seperated their group. However, Dabi's quick reflexes gained him the chance to shoot out his own flames towards the girl, with Airi barely dodging his sudden attack. His flames scraped her skin slightly, making her grunt in pain. Yet, it didn't stop her from continuing her next move.
"Ella!"
The dragon understood her message and sucked in the collected energy given by its owner, combining and transferring them to produce a sword. The newly made weapon levitated itself into Airi's grip, with the violet flames burning brighter on its ends to signify Airi as the owner. The villains' eyes stared into the scene, both shocked and impressed by Airi's new move.
