Those pair of glowing red eyes bored into hers menacingly.

"What... do you want... from me...?"

It was at this second, Airi felt stupidly helpless. She couldn't move a single limb, even as the cloaked figure took intimidating, heavy footsteps towards her. Gritting her teeth, she tried her hardest to break away from its trance, this overwhelming amount of power holding her down.

"Funny how you're still trying, Airi Himari."

A loud, painstaking growl escaped her lips, the volume so high that it even pained her vocal chords, tearing the walls of her throat. Angry tears brimmed in her eyelids, her fists clenched so tightly that she could feel her fingernails digging into her skin of her palms. She didn't even care if it left scars, because nothing could defeat the amount of hatred she had for this unknown someone, who glowered over her in madness.

"LET ME GO!"

"The fifth withholder of the Netherworld. The chosen one, as the demons said.", he snickered deeply. "But all I see is a weak soul who's trying so hard to run away from the truth. From the scars hidden within. Only to fall miserably into a deep pit of agony."

"SHUT UP!", she screamed out the words, heaving out deep breaths to control the surge of fury flowing in her veins. "Just.... Shut up... You know nothing.... about me..."

A melody of ominous chuckle followed after. Airi's wavering eyes watched how the cloaked figure reached closer and closer to her body. His long, dangerously sharp clawed fingers which were tainted in red thick blood, dripped onto the ground below her. Her breath hitched when the tips of its claws touched her chin, bringing it upwards so the figure could observe her features closely.

The surroundings around them heaved a sinister feeling, as if the aura radiating from the creature's presence itself was enough to choke the air out of its enemy. The only thing visible to Airi's vision was his glowing, haunting red eyes which resembled an unknown creature, it wasn't a human for sure. It was nothing like the demons or ghouls which resided the Netherworld.

Though Airi had never seen this person before, she could sense an eerie feeling of familiarity. Was it even a person? Airi was unsure of what form this creature presented itself as. But she was certain of one thing.

The cloaked figure in front of her embodied the singular sign of an apocalypse.

Ding.

The same sound of zen bells were heard. Airi's eyes widened in fear.
