Her wrists were throbbing in pain, but that never stopped her from moving forward.
Airi decided the most efficient way for her body to regain energy back to its fullest potential was to take advantage of the entities she had in her Netherworld. Sure, it would cause her head to pound like crazy after she deactivates the realm, but for now she had no other choice.
"Ella, you know what to do.", she gripped on the dragon's red leathery scales. "Follow the red flames. Please, be as fast as you can."
A light whiff of smoke escaped its nostrils, hissing out, "Understood."
The dragon's large wings flapped violently against the wind, the violet flames similar to Airi's flickering at the ends of its long tail. The size of Ella wasn't too big, just slightly bigger than Ryukyu. But the size didn't matter, as long as it was only visible to Airi's eyes, it was enough to gain her the advantage of any battle.
"Mari-chan!"
Midoriya's voice echoed in her in-ear as she tapped on the device to reply, confused why the boy used a private line to communicate with her.
"Deku-kun?"
A few pants were heard, "I've already told Endeavor this, but I thought since you were nearby I needed to tell you this too. Shigaraki.... is after me."
Airi's eyebrows furrowed. "What? W-Why?"
"I know it's confusing, but I'll explain later. Please, update me every single time he changes direction. For the time being, I'm on the move with Kacchan. I'm moving away from the Evacuation Site."
She wanted to ask so many questions, but she needed to prioritize what was important for now. Before she could answer, the red flames blazing in front of her changes its course, abruptly moving to the left. Ella never slacked behind, roaring out violet flames from its mouth, following The Flame Hero so closely behind.
"Now we're moving southwest. Please tell me your next directions, I need some way to intercept this guy."
The sound of wind interrupting the line could be heard, making the boy's voice unclear. Airi tapped her in-ear again, repeating in a louder tone,
"Deku-kun, please-"
"I'm moving east, now. Mari-chan, please be careful-", once again, some type of wave, or maybe the smoke was too thick, it caused interference in their communication devices.
