Sitting cross-legged on the grass, she fluttered her eyes close.
Airi was currently outside the dormitory with her friends, training in small groups by themselves in preparation for the second final battle. All Might had come to their dorm a few days ago to announce about the next big war which is going to take place in about a month, therefore urging the whole class to use this extension given by America's Number One Hero, Star And Stripe who recently had a dual with Shigaraki. As reported by All Might, the western hero managed to destroy a large number of quirks the villain had, thus resulting a whole week of him unable to move and fight.
Airi had heard about that strong woman before. Her mother, Violet had mentioned her before in one of their conversations. Unlike everyone who knew her from the television or international hero news, Airi had a closer connection to the hero, Star And Stripe since her mother herself was friends with the hero, having to work overseas for a long period of time after her retirement. So, she was devastated when she founded out one of the strongest hero in the world had been killed by Shigaraki, only increasing the fury in her veins to eliminate the villain herself.
The vilest villain of all. No wonder he was named after that.
Clasping her hands tightly, Airi chanted,
"It's me. It's you. It's us."
Feeling the density of the atmosphere drop, the temperature turning colder and the sky turning into a dark shade of purple, she entered her Netherworld. Unfortunately, unlike everyone, Airi was struggling to find what could she improve for her quirk abilities. Speed, was no longer her weakness after a few days of being Midoriya's fairy Godmother, having to chase the latter from one point to another in a short amount of time.
If there was anything Airi needed to improve, it was finding new moves to do with her quirk. And that simply meant, she needed to find new ghouls, new demons, and discover their special abilities, seeing if it was suitable or capable enough to be used for combat, or even defense.
The only problem with this, is that Airi had never done this before.
All the moves she had implemented in her quirk, were either passed down or taught by her own mother. The Midnight's Eye move was also taught by Violet, though she took a longer time to learn about the spell. Basically, Airi was stuck. And she hated the fact that she can't think of a solution herself, even though she had been brainstorming for the whole night.
