Jo and Lizzie both woke up unnaturally early today. Lizzie faced her wife with a love-drunk look on her face and she said "Happy Mothers Day."
"Do you have something to tell me?" Jo said jokingly
"Actually..."
"Elizabeth?" Jo paled
Lizzie reached behind her, turning on the bedside lamp while Jo sat up. "I have been doing some research...I know we talked about all the different ways a few months ago and I know we went back and forth on whether we should use a donor or if we should see if we could use your egg and Trent's sperm so the baby has both of our DNA. I know we couldn't decide then but I think I know what I want to use."
"So do I."
"Then you go first."
"No, you."
"We go together?"
"On three?"
"On three or after three?"
"After?"
"So like we say three then our opinion."
"Yes."
"Okay."
"1..."
"2..."
"3..."
"Sperm Donor." "Sperm Donor."
They quickly smiled at each other. "You know what that means?" Jo asked. Lizzie just looked at her. Jo's smile widened "I get to get you pregnant."
Lizzie laughed at Jo "Yeah I guess you do."
The two laid side by side on their backs both just kind of daydreaming. When Lizzie said into the empty room "What are you doing tomorrow?"
"Nothing. Why?"
"We may have an appointment tomorrow at the OBGYN to get the ball rolling on Baby Olsen."
Jo quickly sat up "Are you serious?"
"Yes," Lizzie said slowly
Jo quickly jumped to her feet standing on the bed "We are going to be Moms!" She jumped down running down the hall, down the stairs Lizzie could hear her go all around the bottom floor before she ran back upstairs took hold of Lizzie lifted her up spun her around kissed her all over her face saying "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"
Lizzie giggled "Wait till I tell you I'm pregnant."
Jo smiled wide "I will do a backflip or several!"
After a few minutes, Jo said "We really should get going to your Moms."
Lizzie looked at the clock "Yeah we really should."
They rolled out of bed and went into their different closets. Jo came out wearing a beautiful two-piece almost jumpsuit.
