Jo and Lizzie woke up to a knock on their door. "Come in," Jo called out lightly
Jamie (Jarnette) peaked her head in "You two decent?"
Lizzie rolled her eyes "Cant have sex right now Ma?"
Jo wanted to curl under the covers and die "You know you don't have to have sex to-"
"Okay!" Jo interrupted "Why don't we all go start some Christmas fun?"
"Like last year?" Lizzie nudged
Jo turned a bright red burying her head in her hands "Elizabeth please."
"I distinctly remember that," Jo buried herself under the bed rolling off the bed her body making a thudding noise, Lizzie moved to look over the bed "Are you okay?"
"I have died. Of embarrassment."
"Oh, honey," Lizzie laughed
Jo unrolled herself walking past Jarnette grumbling something like "If you weren't carrying those babies... f all of you."
Jarnette turned to look at Lizzie before they both died laughing "Oh please her heart," Jarnette said,
"Trust me, Mom she has done worse to me,"
"In front of your Mother-in-law?"
"Grandmother-in-law." Lizzie corrected. Jarnette walked around the bed helping her daughter up.
"Let's go open presents!"
Jamie sat on the couch while Lizzie sat on the love seat. Jo opted to sit on the floor between the love seat and Christmas tree. Red layed up curled up in Jo's lap. Jo had already dived up the presents. "Who opens first?"
"Wisest to stupidest?" Jo suggested
"Is that a nice way of saying oldest to youngest?" Lizzie laughed
"Maybe..."
"Sounds good."
They went one by one around Jarnette was about to open her second gift when Jo said "Wait, Mama Olsen, It's the babies turn."
Lizzie's heart swelled when Jo put your gifts in front of Lizzie "You are going to have to open them at the same time since we don't know whos older."
Lizzie leaned down removing the tissue before pulling out two teddy bears out. Her eyes widened as she turned them around to show her Mom.
"Press the foot," Jo said gently
Lizzie did and the sound of her singing
I love you always forever
Near and far closer together
Everywhere I will be with you
Everything I will do for you
"Oh, baby I'm gonna cry," Lizzie said hugging both of them
The next big gift Jo got was two journals from Jarnette "I thought you could write for the babies."
"This is perfect Mama thank you."
Lizzie and Jo gave one another the usual: clothes, shoes, they both got different style baby bags, sunglasses, books, and a number of other fun things.
After Jamie left Jo and Lizzie both reached behind them pulling out velvet boxes before laughing "Great minds think alike."
Lizzie got a necklace with the twin's initial and a "two peas in a pod" charm. Jo stood up going behind Lizzie kissing her neck.
Lizzie wiped her tears "Your turn baby," Jo opened her box to show a silver necklace with a long rectangle dangling off of it with the twin's names on it.
"I guess we had the same idea," Jo smiled fiddling with the rectangle
"We can keep them close even when working." Lizzie smiled
Jo sat in front of Lizzie as Lizzie wrapped it around Jo's neck kissing her just as Jo did. Once it was on Jo leaned back against Lizzie's chair. Lizzie reached down scratching Jo's scalp. Jo hummed, "This time next year we could have two little loves in our lap."
"I can't wait!" Lizzie smiled,
Jo reached up so she could hold Lizzie's hand. She brought Lizzie's hand to her lips "What do you think they will look like?"
Lizzie gave Jo's hand a squeeze "They will look like the perfect mix of me and you. My eyes, nose and your chin, and cheeks... both of them."
Jo rolled her eyes "They will have your laugh and smile."
"And your strength and heart."
"I love them so much,"
"Me too," Lizzie agreed
"I love you,"
"I love you more,"
"I love you most,"
"Never,"
"Never,"
"And we love you Olsen twins,"
"So much,"
"Hurry up and get here,"
"Please!," Jo exclaimed
