The blaring alarm woke Jo out of her deep slumber. She groaned lightly wanting to stay in her lover's arms forever. She rolled over kissing her wife before rolling out of bed. She stretched all of her limbs as she made her way into the closet to put on proper workout attire before making her way downstairs throwing her hair into a messy bun. She went to the fridge grabbing bottled water before going to the backroom that had become a yoga/workout room for them. She sat cross-legged on the floor stretching before lacing up her bike shoes and climbing onto the peloton. After an intense 45-minute bike ride she returned to the mat to do a fifteen-minute cool down yoga and stretch session. She took a towel off of the rack on the wall wiping her sweat away before throwing it into the small hamper to be washed later. She was exhausted but the good kind of exhausted. She walked back through the kitchen and living room before climbing the stairs making her way down the short hall into the master. A master that still felt foreign. She smiled lightly when she looked through the mound of pillows and blankets before finally seeing that sweet woman she married. She gave one last look before walking into the bathroom shedding her clothes. She delicately stepping into the shower letting the hot water wash over her exhausted muscles. She doesn't know how long she had been in the shower when cold air reached her back. The shower squeaked as Lizzie came up and behind Jo kissing the tattoo on her neck. Jo smiled looking back "Whatcha dooin?"
"Saving water," Lizzie answered truthfully
"Is that so?" Jo questioned
Lizzie hummed "Yes I believe so."
After the two finished showering Jo made her way back downstairs while Lizzie finished getting ready. Lizzie made her way into the closet picking out a simple outfit before going into the bathroom cleansing her face. After that she sat at the vanity and did some light make up as well asput her jewly on for the day even though she knew it was going to have to be removed. She looked down at her wedding ring admiring it. That was something she hated removing but when she didn't have it on her finger it was often still on her somewhere or around Jos neck.
Meanwhile downstairs Jo took a hold of their Moka pot. Morning coffee was a form of art to Jo it was one of the reasons she chose to wake up at 4 am today. She looked over at the stove to see where it read 5:45 they were expected at the studio at 6:30 am. She looked across their kitchen counter handpicking the coffee beans she wanted for the day she settled on a decadent Columbian bean before putting the beans in the grinder. She ground them into a course mix that filling the funnel. She took the ketal with the hot water pouring into the bottom setting it straight onto the eye of the stove. She flipped through the book on the counter listening for the coffee to start to gurgle. When it did she took it off the eye. When it had cooled enough she frothed the milk before pouring the coffee into a travel mug putting a heart on the top for Lizzie. She just poured hers into a thermos leaving it black. Lizzie walked down just as she was putting the lid on. Lizzie kissed her wife cheek saying "Thank you."
"Always my heart."
The two spent the next twenty minutes packing their pages making sure they had everything they needed to work that day. Jo opened the door for Lizzie as they walked down their front steps and out to their car, Jo went around the car opening the door for Lizzie again before going to the driver's side. She took ahold of Lizzie's hand with one hand while the other sat on the wheel. It was a longer drive to the location than what they were used to. It took them around an hour to pull down the gravel lot and into the sea of trailers. They parked next to all the other cars. As they stepped out Jo and Lizzie kissed before going different directions Lizzie to hair and makeup while Jo went to talk to the producers.
When Jo walked up to the men they gave her a rundown of what they would be doing today. It was mostly going to be a day of wirework. They were on the countryside it was a large area for filming ATV, UTVs and a helicopter were all on standby to get the best possible shot. Jo made her way to one of the ATVs throwing a leg over just as Lizzie walked out of hair and make-up. Jo looked over winking "Pick your jaw up, babe." Lizzie rolled her eyes as she walked over to her wife.
